When asked about intelligence briefings, he said that the “Quality of intelligence could always be improved”. How does he know? What does that mean? Again, a classy response would be “I have been informed of important issues, and will continue to work during the transitional period to further explore various international options given the information at hand”

All this truly important stuff the electorate need to find out about their new messiah will be quickly discarted by the MSM and/or seen as “boring” by the leftoids. CNN doesn’t exist anymore on my dial. No point in watching it. The start of the end was many months ago, during the campaign when it was abundantly clear that CNN’s new slogan was “All Obama, All The Time”, on their quest to getting The One elected.

Bush may not wish to transform the private automanufacturing industries into publicly funded industries. Harper has said the same; that he doesn’t want to set up the automanufacturers, which are private companies, as dependent on taxpayer funds. We’ve already noted that the Auto Unions are the real cause of the collapse of these industries in N. America.
So, if Bush holds off such funding, while Obama’s team has leaked that he’s in favour of it, he gets political gain in the public eye..without spending any of the taxpayers’ money.
When he comes into office in January, he may do something else, but his actions are heavily pragmatic and focused on how these actions appear to the public. He has strong similarities to our own Jean Chretien, another individual focused on, not the welfare of the country, but his own political welfare. So, such behaviour has nothing to do with ‘skin colour’.

To play defense (if indeed your comment was directed at mine) the relevance of my comment was the difference in commitment by either Bush or Obamba towards helping the failing US auto industry. I put forward Obamba’s interests as a subtle targeting of one specific racial group for help – aside from the failing manufacturing infrastructure.
The Auto industry based in Detroit has an overwhelming 60% black labor force which far outreaches the national average of 12% – 13% blacks. It is relative to his policies if select industries receive government bailouts and aid based on his preferred demographics.

As many of you know, I am a VietNam vet and spent many a sodden night in the trenches. This sort of thing makes me sick.
