Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

All well and good … but won’t AI make money like the REST of the internet makes money? By selling YOU … the user? And you are literally typing in even MORE detailed information about yourself into AI. And what of the POWER of driving selected … curated … lies and passing them off as truth to the masses?
TBH … AI shouldn’t be answering (strategically incompletely) my questions about many times Biden was accused of sexually inappropriate conduct. No, AI should be used to collate and corroborate the sum total of all cancer research in the world. Not serving up politicized shit answers to my idle curiosity.
1. Development of Artificial Intelligence
2. Introduction on a massive scale for free
3. Individuals start to master AI
*** we are here ***
4. Increasing reliance on AI to do everything
5. Massive shake-out in AI industry as most developers run out of money
6. New revenue model for a society now totally dependent on the technology
“New revenue model for a society now totally dependent on the technology”
Most people think it’s the productivity loss that’s going to be the issue. Actually it’s the cognitive outsourcing that’s going to be the problem. People are already letting AI do their thinking for them, they won’t be able to just go back to doing their jobs when AI goes away because they will have lost the ability to do so. It’s like an athlete using some sort of assist, once the assist is gone they will be worse than before they started using the assist.
Outsourcing our thinking. We’ll be fine …
Having to learn stuff is racist.
Actually, it’s ageism. Memorizing stuff is what old people do.
People with photographic memories should be jailed and tortured.
