Luser Watch

It’s a Twofer! Comments-free Warren Kinsella critiques an anonymous blog as a “one-sided echo chamber to advance a political agenda.” The pointy edge of the anti-Bourque smear campaign then likens it to “nasty press releases” before warning that Blogspot hosted “Trenchcoat” might be exposed through an IP address. AHA!
Icing on the cake – writer Joshua Errett of the Telegraph-Journal then directs readers to the wrong URL.
As of this morning, “The Trenchcoat” had registered only 1360 total visitors. Which makes one wonder if the purpose of the article wasn’t to bury the blogger – but to praise him.

  1. One of the best blogs on the net was, until fairly recently, written anonymously under the name of “Wretchard”.
    It’s called “The Belmont Club”.
I’d challenge anyone to argue that the content didn’t stand on its own merits – so much so that he disclosed his identity upon discovering his war analysis was being quoted in British media.

  2. To that end, Kinsella calls the Trenchcoat site a “one-sided echo chamber to advance a political agenda,” and labels it the equivalent of “nasty press releases.”
Ummmmmm…seems he nailed the CBC perfectly!

  3. Hey Warren, why do you keep forgetting to mention the Liberal party of Canada and Ontario are both Bourque paying clients?
And do tell, the blog you link to on top of your blog, dailycanuck. is run by The Element Group, who, wait for it,lists both the Liberal party of Canada and Ontario as clients. And,the head of The Element Group also works for the Liberal party.
Most people who see me post on here know i rarely call people names, but you are one sorry pathetic piece of s@#$!!

  4. Kinsella must be going through another bad bout of penis envy. Nothing a frivolous lawsuit can’t cure for Chemical Kinsella.

  5. Maybe ol’ Warren the tragically unhip is just angry because he can’t figure out how to activate comments. He probably wishes he had an echo chamber too…

  6. It seem that WK’s relevance and credibility is receding with his hair…….time to remove him from the blogroll maybe!
Could it be that the one time punk poseur has gone over the dreaded point of no-return as a middle aged irrelevance?
S**t from h*ll could now be the unofficial name for his “Musings”……..

  7. Great cal2….now I’ll have nightmares. Doesn’t Cuba also have a state run propaganda machine? For those who can afford a TV of course. Turdeau would be so proud.

  8. Is this really the name of his band, S**t from h*ll?
I find it truely remarkable that a man who held a fairly senior government position, a man who would have a fair amount of imput into the running of a G8 country would be given such an opportunity considering the name of his hobby speaks volumes about the level of emotional and intellectual maturity he appears to lack.

  9. “Is this really the name of his band, S**t from h*ll?”
Rumour has it the name will soon be changed to “Poop from Self-Pity” and will express the intense angst of a middle-aged liberal insider aiming for the edge, with his eye on his RRSP.

  10. What I don’t get is this pro-Kinsella quote from NationaNewswatch.com:
“TRENCHCOAT WEBSITE “WORK OF A WEASEL”: KINSELLA
A masked blogger has sprung up online, attempting to “expose what the Shawn Graham government doesn’t want New Brunswickers to know.” While rumours about the identity of the mysterious blogger are hardly swirling: more seasoned political bloggers (He’s actually referring to Kinsella here – Bob) are cautious to recognize the site as anything more than base partisanship”
Is National Newswatch a Liberal website? Does anyone know who runs this particular secretive, anonymous website?
    I miss Neale News.

  11. Kinsella seemed a bit cranky over this one for some reason. Trenchcoat’s as partisan as they come but calling him/her a weasel? Seems a bit strong for a blog created this month.
