stop calling it spending. its just more DEBT.
you cant SPEND what you dont HAVE. theres the ‘tax free’ day where we have ‘covered’ all the taxes we pay out of our income in a given year, right? well theres also the day when the gubbamint has SPENT those taxes and keeps on ‘SPENDING’.
spending what? the money’s all gone. it aint spending its just debt debt debt debt debt debt.

its the Liberal way.priming us for hyperinflation. except this time its the whole world.

    1. Not to quibble but it should be “Trudeau 3.0”. Pierre started the out of control spending. His adopted son would be 2.0.

  2. Thank you for the post “I never promised you a rose garden!” I was born in 1952 and lived in Edmonton. Our parents had 4 children and lived in a 2 bedroom house of 800 square feet. Dad put in a “rec room” and a bedroom for my sister and I in the basement. Our brothers had bunk beds in the small second bedroom. Our parents paid $ 3,000 for the house in 1954 and it sold for $ 5,000 in 1960.

My “brother from another mother” lived in Niagara Falls in a raised bungalow which his father built. The basement was undeveloped. He and his 2 brothers slept there. His sister and Italian grandmother shared a bed in the small second bedroom while his parents had the master bedroom, which was slightly larger.

I just laugh at the expectations of people in their late 20’s and early 30’s today. Expectations of “first homes” have changed dramatically in the last 65 years.

    1. People today could thank mass immigration, but they’re incapable of that simple deduction.
And I don’t blame the immigrants.

    2. Sorry to report, but everyone who drives with me is made to feel they are a psychiatrist to a Tourette’s patient. But in my defense, here in CA … every expletive I mumble is well deserved as the entire Singh, and Ting families are behind the wheels of every truck and passenger auto here on our pockmarked potholed freeways.
