    and gets more votes than any other candidate for the office she holds.
    what does THAT tell you about *anything* related to education, common sense, politics, priorities, truth, all manner of items sacrificed to the altar of leftism and Demoncraps.

    1. So, her district is a 3rd-world cesspool of crime, drugs, and abject poverty. It is populated almost entirely by welfare sponging morons, and low-functioning immigrant retards looking for a handout, which as a fellow moron, suits her just fine. She does absolutely nothing for them, and they despise her for it, but they choke it back, for now, because she inadvertently keeps the free shit flowing for them, and most of them are on the dole to one extent, or another. Although she “gets more votes than any other candidate for the office she holds”, that’s a low bar for a district that would vote for a rock, if it had a ‘(D)’ on it, and some free shit underneath it. She may.. *seem* popular in her district, but make no mistake, they would roll her over in a heartbeat if another political huckster came along and promised them even more free shit than they think they’re getting out of her.

        Can’t wait for her 2028 presidential run when she tries to explain to American voters why she opposed Amazon’s attempt to bring thousands of jobs to her district. I mean it probably made sense to her at the time, knowing that most of her constituents don’t work, and have no desire to work, but to Normies across the country a position like this should spell the end of her campaign.

      3. Her district had a 10 term incumbent white guy who was highly ranked amongst house Dems and viewed as a potential future speaker, so he had stopped giving a shit about his actual district as well and (more importantly) got so full of himself he barely campaigned.

        Some leftists saw the opening and basically held a casting call for someone who could capture people’s attention. They picked AOC and she won the primary, the only election that matters there.

        So, she is all image no substance, but this is one of those urban districts that is such a mess that the people there have no understanding of what their representative is supposed to be doing for them.

    1. My first thought also. No idea of history. History didn’t start 50 years ago, it started at least 5000 years ago.

      Except in climate change circles, where I think 60 million years should be the framing for “what is the normal range?” The rate of change of temperature between 8AM and 10AM this morning doesn’t mean we’re all going to die (within 2 days because of XYZ) but rather that the systems within which we live are naturally chaotic within a stable range.

  8. She has a very shallow intelligence and lacks the wit to realize. She probably heard, correctly, that a large number of American cowboys were Mexican and black. This is true. There were also a fair number of Irish, but I digress.
    However, the concept of herding cattle with horses (and yes, the horses) came from Europe, specifically Spain and Portugal. Although, there were a fair number of Italians that wound up as cowboys in the New World, doing the same job they did in the Old World — the butteri, Maremma region.

    Thus endeth my TED talk with one postscript notation: it is a good thing she is so stupid; it’s a gift that keeps on giving.

    1. Interesting off topic, but one of the drivers of the slave trade inside Africa was the desire of certain kings/tribal leaders to acquire a supply of horses. The Fulani are particularly known for it.
