  1. I wonder if this is pre-emptive and the next step will be to recind the legislation regarding separation? Can’t have those western serfs getting too upitty, can we?

    1. lol whut ‘gets’ me is the notion that any serious move to divorce, is somehow premised on getting perrrrrrMISSion from some handful of Liberals.
no no no. ya do it like kaybek planned to when they narrowly missed in ’95.

      1. I didn’t say it was legal, or moral, or going to happen that way, but yes. I do think that the Gliberals will presume that they need to be consulted and agree before the peons (aka us) will be “allowed” to decide for ourselves.

  2. As I said earlier. A bunch of failed lawyers that will write in provisions will also erase them. The entire federal government is corrupt beyond repair. It operates just like its CCP masters in Peking.

My impression is, they don’t particularly care about Quebec using the notwithstanding clause, they just want it gone before Alberta gets a chance to use it.

    1. Ring around the collar?
      Remember Louis Riel?
Alberta- we’ll take CFB Cold Lake
      Quebec- we got Bagotville
Carney’s left with an anxious USA order for 100 F-35s

  4. Well I guess what that might mean is that in cases where a provincial government might have invoked the Notwithstanding Clause, any directives from the feds or the courts will simply have to be ignored,.
