  1. aaaaaaaaaaand in NB its 6 Libs vs only 4 Cons.
ya got everything ya wanted NB now shaddap with the whining.
just go home in pain and misery and declining health and tell ALLL yr friends such a loyal liberal voter you have been such tremendous reward. have you booked your MAiD?

        1. yup. erudite debate commencing right there.
that said….best health care system evah!
by the bye, can we parse what kind of ER ‘walk outs’ are included in such stats?
for example, how many were babies coughing brought in by anxious parents, or etc.
          you know wut I mean?

      1. f off you say?
        oooh not bloody likely.
tired of the same point l make about liberal voters?
matches my fatigue with the bellyaching about the failures of said Liberals.

        1. @kritter:
Well, I was at a loss for words. BTW, I have taken shots (not literally) at the loonie liberals aka woke wackos. I am no leftist by any means. Rather a CCC. (common sense conservative). So, I rationally can say that Trump a blithering idiot and still be true to my credentials, that of a CCC.

  2. And I was one of those walkouts, right after another guy ahead walked out around 4pm saying he’d been there since 9am and not yet been seen. An 80 year old lady who lives down the street last week waited 12 hours to get treated. (And no, I did not vote for the Libs, but there are not enough of us here)

  3. The chart seems weighted from the have provinces to the have not provinces in terms of equalization/welfare payments made.

Do the eastern dependencies have a plan for when AB/Sask separate from the failing confederation?
About 20% of the Atlantic provinces gov’t budgets is sourced through the federal gov’t and equalization.
That seems like a lot. They may have to dig a hole in the ground and see if they find anything worth digging up which they could sell.

  4. I believe all these former patients can Google some military field dressings. I hear a well placed duct tape dressing is better than stitches. Good luck!

    1. dont tell anybody kj but l discovered, or more accurately tested some superglue on a cut. once l got the bleeding to clot, have at it. lets hear it for Ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate

  5. There’s probably some basement percentage below which it’s impossible to go, as not everyone who goes to an ER should. As an example, someone might want to be treated for a cold.

From the chart, one might guess it’s 5%.

    1. Yes, as long as the number going home unattended is greater than the number that die on the premises unattended, there really isn’t a serious problem. It’s the ones that don’t make it home that we really have to worry about.

There’s also a proportion who should be shot on sight rather than treated, but frankly, it seems imprudent to attempt to estimate it. It could all too easily include me.
