  1. Yay! Playoff day!
Me, a diehard Stamps fan is going with a (cough) Eskimo fan.
    Friendship does have it’s trials.

  2. The good news is that the Stamps won. The bad news is that the Riders didn’t. Have friends headed to the Grey Cup – one a Riders’ fan and the other a Stamps’ fan. Would have been great to see them in their respective jerseys cheering their respective teams. Sadly, not happening.
Way back in the day, my uncle got me a ticket to a Grey Cup game in Vancouver (the one in which Willy Fleming was taken out by Angelo Mosca). I’m sitting in the end zone, cheering for Vancouver, but behind me are a couple of Stamps fans who are cheering for their team – never mind said team is not actually playing.
Many years later, spouse and I are given tickets to the Grey Cup by our family. So we layer up and head out to the game. Find ourselves by others wearing jerseys from every team in the league other than those actually on the field. It was lots of fun.
That being said, I know my father always thought that – on Grey Cup Sunday – prayers should be said in church for the West to win. I’m with you, Dad!!

  3. I don’t think divine intervention will be required for the Stampeders to beat the Argos.
Ricky Ray is the best two minute Q/B in the league, but I expect Calgary will have a sizeable lead by the final two minutes.
    Calgary 31 Argos 17
