1. It’s another set of idiots trying to grab power they didn’t earn and don’t deserve? One more pack of grifters trying to figure out how to fool ’em again today, except from the Right this time?

   I’m going to mock them just the same, they don’t get a pass because they pretend to be on my side.

2. The woke right concept is a really awkward attempt to shoehorn a label onto a group the proponents of the label disagree with.

   It will never catch on the way it did with the left that was proudly using the term woke as a label for their own beliefs to the point it became a pejorative once people saw how bad their beliefs are. Not just their political beliefs but their underlying beliefs about reality.

   This is why everyone in the video seems to be making such awkward arguments, the term itself is pejorative, not descriptive of nor engaging with the ideas. When referring to the Woke, we actually are using a term that has enough context to describe their beliefs and values that one can accept or reject the arguments of the woke based on the known merits of their arguments, and it has become a pejorative precisely because most sane people reject those values and beliefs as delusional, harmful, and filled with internal contradictions. The term “woke right” is meant as a pejorative but does not convey any argument itself and is not much different than the lefts labels like christo-fascist for opposition to abortion, or I suppose tagging fascist onto anything they disagree with.

3. “Woke” is analogous to “stolen valor”. What? What the hell is Kenji banging on about now … ? Stolen valor is when some d-bag pretends that he/she did something noteworthy … particularly in the military … but they actually never did it or achieved it.

   To claim that you’re woke is to falsely claim you know your own ass from a hole in the ground. The vast majority of woke on the left … and now on the right … don’t know shit about shit. They’ve been poorly educated by our shit public skools and rather than spending time on the Khan Academy … they doomscroll TikTok videos … or Anime chat forums.

   I’m happily NOT woke. Sorry, I don’t play that game.

4. A lot of the guys lamenting the “Woke Right” are just 90’s liberals dismayed at how the tape played out.
   The solution to the Left isn’t Joe Clark espousing “principles”. These guys are cucks. Cucking doesn’t win.

6. Does the word Woke help at all?

   Don’t we have enough descriptives without another ill-conceived word popping up and then saying, there are Woke people everywhere.

   The only concrete thing I got out this video is the age old authoritarian vs Liberal/Liberty choices people make. Since we have these words already, why do we need “Woke?” The words Fascist and Nazi have lost all meaning as useful descriptives as every Republican presidential candidate for the last 40 years has been accused by the Left as being one and/or the other and that is utterly absurd.

   AOC and Bernie Sanders and virtually the entire Democrat Party are Authoritarians and hence, I guess, Woke.

   Who on the right is Woke? Tucker Carlson? He’s an Israel and Jew hater but he’s anti-authoritarian so name 10 more famous people on the Right who are Right Wing Woke. Are they people anyone here follows, admires or pays attention to? I need names and acts they committed, powerful books they wrote, speeches they made not abstract ideas. Otherwise it’s just noise.
