Scratch A Leftist

…why do these globalist elites hate Netanyahu?

IF YOU’VE been watching the situation in Israel, you’ll have noticed a contradiction. On the one hand, the Americans, the British, Australian and EU politicians and officials have been queuing up for photo opportunities on the Gaza border to express their solidarity against the horrific Hamas attack of October 7. On the other hand, in almost every case and the passage of a few days – even minutes – the same people effectively blamed Israel in general and PM Benjamin Netanyahu in particular for causing the problem by oppressing the ‘poor Palestinians’ and failing to provide Statehood.

Confused? Let me explain.

Since a free and fair democratic election in November 2022, Netanyahu has led Israel’s coalition government. One of his primary campaign goals was to clip the wings of Israel’s Supreme Court, which shockingly has greater powers than its elected government, as expertly explained by Eugene Kontorovich.

By seeking to restore the democratic balance over unelected judges, Netanyahu drew the ire of Israel’s liberal, secular anti-Zionist elite – a group I estimate at over 95 per cent in its MSM …

  1. I hate Bibi because he’s willing to play footsie with the Turd in order to foist a bunch of Hamas “refugees” off on Canada.

Just like he did with the “White Helmet” Islamic fighters.

    1. It pays to be cordial with the garbage man. He picks up and hauls your trash away. You do not, however, have to invite him to dinner.

      1. Anyone who wants a bunch of Hamassholes to be settled in Canada is the enemy of Canadians. Period.

    2. or you could admire him in a way for acting in the interests of his own nation and people.

for example, and lve said this to english speaking quebecqois, it is extraordinary how quebecers keep besting troc in negotiations. they *stand their ground* and have since the bust up post duplessis when da cat-o-lick chuch lost its iron grip.

troc well, we’se happy as pigs in shyt aint we, propping up da librawls who mostly hale from kaybeck in the first place. THAT is political finesse, beat us to the punch countless times AND make sure they get elected majority/minority/no difference so they can do it all over again WHATEVER the exact rights and jurisdiction issue is.
      they
      are
      GENIUSES
      in that way.
(occurs to me Canaduh is the first entire nation suffering stockholm syndrome)

  2. Israel, being civilized, (about 25% of Israel residents are non-Jews BTW), is automatically classified as ‘an oppressor’, while Hamas, being primitive, is regarded by the hysterics as a ‘supportable cause’.

  3. The MSM raises it’s ugly head again!
One would think they are affiliated with the CBC, Global, CTV hereabouts.
    Creeps one and all.

  4. I’m not a fan of Bibi. I’m not a fan of Trudeau or Biden ore Macron or the pope or…… Bibi in particular is a Jew of convince not conviction. He doesn’t even pretend to be kosher in his diet. He is the guy who started Hamas and he was the guy who knew what Hamas planned on Oct 7. He ordered his troops to let it happen the sent his troops in to kill both Hamas and Jew. He has been overseeing and encouraging the genocide in Gaza and is about to get Israel destroyed by its many enemies who are not going to stand down as they have previously.

      1. You don’t follow the reports coming out of Israel? Nothing I posted has not been reported by Israeli media.

          1. So you prefer ignorance? Bibi is about as popular as a skunk on a dance floor in Israel. He is a worn out politician that needs to be relieved of duty and likely spend time in jail for some of the corruption he has committed. He makes Trudeau’s Arrive Scam look like honest and fair trade

          2. Joe is correct. You guys just can’t believe that your preconceived ideas of how things work in Israel may be wrong. I do not support Hamas. At all. But neither do I support Israel simply because it’s name is Israel.

          3. Joe Albertan

I wasn’t commenting on Bibi. Where did I say anything about Bibi?

Your comment “Nothing I posted has not…” can be simplified to make sense.

Stop drinking and you might get it.

  5. Fair and free elections, that’s a good one . Don’t know if Bibi is a black hat or a white hat, but someone in his admin had to have known about the gliders with the attached go-carts. The attack did give Bibi the green light to go after Hamas and all of the innocent Palestine citizens , oh right the Palestinians voted for Hamas in their free and fair elections, so we’re not supposed to feel sorry for them. Do what you gotta do Isreal but don’t ask for my moral or financial
    support.

        1. “The Palestinian children that have been killed are not innocent? Idiot”

Leaving aside for the moment the fact that we don’t actually know how many children have really been killed (what, you were going to believe the numbers provided by Hamas?), all the children you speak of have been raised to hate Jews and to kill them whenever possible. I don’t call that very ‘innocent’.

    1. well thats friggin rich.
that claim was also made that roosevelt knew the pearl harbour attack was coming; did everything necessary to let it go down, to provide grounds to declare war which he did on dec 7 next day. also it seems willing to risk losing the carriers.
rumour is a last minit call to the emperor’s palace to confirm the timing to get them out of th way. and japongggggg reciprocated by ‘throwing’ midway island.
      ummm, ‘whatever’

  6. We seem to have a lot of leftists here!

Similar to the PP-bashers, Bibi-bashers have zero understanding of the overwhelming complexity and challenges of Israeli governance.

As to the supreme court issue, informed observers have pointed put that Israel simply wants a supreme court like the standard issue supreme court of western countries.

    1. Again, anyone who wants to settle Hamassholes in Canada is the enemy of Canadians.
No amount of “nuance” can change this simple fact.
If that’s a leftist position in your books, you may need to re-evaluate your position.

  7. Let me get this straight:
If Bibi wants to settle radical Moslems in Canada, its good, because nuance and the challenges of Israeli governance.
If Trudeau wants to settle radical Moslems in Canada, its bad, not because the Moslems themselves are bad, but because Trudeau bad.
What a bunch of dishonest and disingenuous clowns.

    1. YeahWell:

If true, I didn’t realize that Bibi asked Canada to accept Palestinians.
As to muslims, the overwhelming majority of our immigrants are muslims from many countries. If true, wouldn’t Bibi simply believe that Canada [Trudeau] loves muslims and wouldn’t it be reasonable for him to gift some muslims to Canada.

SO, the enemy of Canada would not be Bibi but Trudeau.

      1. 1. Bibi urged Canada to take on Gazans.
        2. Bibi is complicit in sending Gazans here, ergo he is the enemy of Canadians.
        Period.

        1. No BIBI doesn’t SEND Gazans here. He can’t.
          Trudeau ASKS for Gazans here.
Trudeau, not Bibi, is the enemy of Canadians.

    2. Bibi can’t settle radical Muslims in Canada, unless Justin is willing to take them.

      And Justin is willing.

      1. And who would blame Netanyahu for wanting to ship Hamas anywhere rather than leaving them in Gaza where they most surely will attack again? This does not make him our enemy.
Anybody in Canada promoting bringing them here would be considered an enemy in my opinion. There’s lots of room for them in Saudi Arabia among many other middle east countries.

  8. From the link: “Netanyahu, in my opinion one of [Israel’s] finest post-war leaders, who out of necessity is acting militarily to expunge the threat to his nation.” 100% agree. Netanyahu has my unconditional support. Recently, I disowned my niece and her secular Jewish husband for their half hearted support for Israel in this war.

Nothing short of annihilation of Hamas, and anyone else offering tangible support for Hamas, will suffice in this war. Anything less than total annihilation will only allow this malignancy to reestablish itself.

    1. halleluah falujiah.
no kidding. the comparison l make when Patton and the guys made their way to the Rhine, where was the great hue and cry ‘ceeaaaaase fiya ceeeeease fiya’ hmm? anybody find anything in the entirety of that conflict when WE *really* got the upper hand we should instantly stop the burning killing and flattening? hmm? anything remotely similar? by anyone? either side? hmmm? my suspicion is the OPPOSITE aka HAVE AT IT FELLAHS ITS COUP DE GRAS TIME.
the end result, where oh where was the attempt at a 4th reich? what, insufficient numbers and will to try it? see how that works ye arm chair critics and tilly hats?

  9. L – While the early comments address the Constitutional crisis in Israel, most of the discussion
deals with the international law and institutions e.i. United Nations, W.H.O. et al; their role, value and limitations thereof: practical, legal and political.

Both this and whether a Supreme Court can lawfully usurp the democratic power (Rights) of citizens and elected legislative bodies are questions(Globalism vs. nation states) befuddling politics in Canada. The Epoch Times over performs, yet again.

this interview is essential anyone looking @ lsrael, ME, US supreme court etc

  10. Globalists are scum-sucking ratfcks and “jailing” them should be legal.
But I really can’t understand their alliance with Moslems.
It can’t possibly end well, yet there they are, playing nice, encouraging the plague to spread, as if it’ll get less virulent when it clearly does the opposite in every single place.
Netanyahu, like him or not, understands that the Palis are the worst of the worst.
If he is guilty of encouraging Canada to take some, I can’t blame him.

  11. I’m not aware of the details in israel, but doesn’t the supreme court effectively legislate from the bench in the US as well?

  12. or you could admire him in a way for acting in the interests of his own nation and people.

  13. I’ll just leave this here!
“It read, “Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views,” she wrote.”
Except it was the RCC that drove the hate for the Jews.
