    1. If only I could ignore the computer. It is an addiction. I used to leave it when I went to Florida and totally ignored anything on it when I returned, deleted all e-mails without reading them and of course did not comment on a damn thing for a couple of months. This year I went for a couple of days short of month away from the machine.
      Your tips are valid.

    2. John I respectfully disagree, although I understand where you are coming from. If the world is coming to a deep crisis — either through an expanded war or a crashing economy — I want to know what exactly is going on.

After one’s periodic reading of SDA, and one’s knowledge of how pro-Hamas our corporate media are, I recommend reading the Times of Israel:
      https://www.timesofisrael.com/

…to get Israel’s side of the war. Note that our corporate media no longer report on the actual progress of the war. The few independent media reporting on the actual war developments say Israel is winning the war big time. The anti-Israel media are upset about this, and are intent on censoring this part of the war..

      1. One hardly requires further information in order to conclude that Western civilization is disintegrating. Best spend one’s time preparing.

      2. Well David,I agree the crisis is coming upon us.
But I can only keep my own backyard in order.
Worrying about the possible actions of people I am not even sure are real, will do nothing for my sanity ,nor change what I must do to preserve me and mine.

As made obvious with Trump/Harper Derangement and the Ukraine Russia Fiasco,What is true?

Who has supplied what I thought I knew?
        Of place far away?

        The talking heads and media.
        They are liars.
        proven liars now.
Should I trust their words past?

Trade will continue between productive people, with or without the middlemen and parasites.
Our current wealth, was built upon the trust our forefathers established world wide..
More trade meant more wealth, richer fatter people.
Trade is collapsing, because our Dear Leaders have broken the trust.
        On way too many levels.
        Poverty will increase.
        Prepare for lawlessness and barter.
        Once prepared ?
        Relax and enjoy God’s Gift.
        This World is beautiful.
        And has gifts aplenty.

As the old wives tale of the Queens Kingdom..
        Queeny sends out two messengers/investigators.
Asks #1 “Is my kingdom full of flowers?”
Asks #2 ” Is my kingdom full of thorns?”
Both ride by the same Rosebushes and return to assure Her Majesty that “Yes your kingdom is full off”.
        Fear Uncertainty and Doubt.
The natural tools of The Bureaus and every other parasitic institution.
        Stand ready.
        Know your enemies.

So, pretty much the same as the MSM does with Ukraine, then?

  1. In which a few Christian Zionists do their part for Israel:

    1. Canada’s top fighter ace of WW2, Buerling is buried is Israel. He was a Christian, from Montreal.

    1. Here in southern Ontario, I’ve never seen the corn grow taller. And I have seen a lot of corn, oceans of corn.

Small gardens may have suffered from so much rain, but some crops were bumper crops.

      1. Indeed. She won’t be addressing any Conservative convention any time soon in this Country.

  2. For some very strange reason, after Oregon legalized hard drugs, open air drug use became rampant. Now they want to undo the law.

    https://www.wsj.com/us-news/oregon-decriminalized-hard-drugs-it-isnt-working-78ee7476

“People sprawled on sidewalks and using fentanyl with no fear of consequence have become a common sight in cities such as Eugene and Portland. Business owners and local leaders are upset, but so are liberal voters who hoped decriminalization would lead to more people getting help. In reality, few drug users are taking advantage of new state-funded rehabilitation programs.”

    I’m shocked. I’m flabbergasted.

    1. It would work of they put all the hard dope where the maniacs could get it.

When it’s done, let the coyotes clean up the garbage.

      That sounds like Oregon.

    2. Business owners and local leaders are upset, but so are liberal voters who hoped decriminalization would lead to more people getting help.

      Oh, horseshit!

    3. They also have this phenomena occur in place where hard drugs have not been decriminalized (alas they are not legal in Oregon). This is because Oregon has no drug problem, it has a housing problem. This article is another smear by drug prohibitionists.

      1. If every socialist in the US took in a homeless person, the housing shortage would disappear.

Perhaps Bernie ‘three house’ Sanders could start.

    1. Not only CVS in DC, Steve, but the in the Senate and House washrooms. Those politicians are out to steal everything that isn’t nailed down.

Ever notice that all the buildings and monuments in DC are made of huge blocks of marble or limestone? That’s because bricks are too easy to steal.

    1. I quit drinking for a week and my blood pressure went from 138/82 to 125/82.
There is somehting to it I guess 🙂

  3. Huh. Substitute “Globull Warmening” for “Islam”…

    Islam is Not a Religion

    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2023/11/islam_is_not_a_religion.html

It is an authoritarian, political ideology that forcibly imposes itself on all aspects of any society unfortunate enough to be under its yoke. Islam demands complete subjugation by its adherents. Under Islam, there is no democracy, there is no free speech, no freedom of religion, no freedom of the press, no minority rights, and there’s no right to love whoever you desire. Islam allows no dissent. It is a complete and total way of life that glorifies oppression, slavery, and death.

    1. Let me add to this excellent article: To the West’s chagrin, the Islamic the cultural soil (especially in the Middle East) has proven to be not only hard pan but contaminated with the poison of centuries of old hatreds and prejudices. So toxic is its culture that new ideas do not grow there; new ideas cannot grow there. Islamist values couple with and exacerbate murderous internecine feuds that render the middle east into an intellectually barren mindscape and has produced a society that could be fairly described as being composed of “a little people, a silly people – greedy, barbarous, and cruel…”

One accepts that Islamic theocratic fascism is evil, but – and one must be careful here – its opposite is not democracy. Democracy is not goodness; it is, at best, a means to an end. Democracy, even in America, is subordinate to morality. That’s why Americans have a Bill of Rights which limits the powers of a democratically elected government. Islam tolerates no dissent. Under Sharia law there cannot be nor will there ever be, a bill of rights.

      1. A “tolerant” society determined to tolerate the avowedly intolerant won’t be in business for long.

        Mark Steyn

    2. Islam is a religion. All those things ‘American Thinker’ thinks make Islam not a religion are facets of Abrahamic religions and others besides. American Thinker is desperate to make something positive out of religion.

  4. Simple solution. Arm a coupla guards w/ 12 ga shotguns. They stand around the perimeter & shoot down any drones that approach the prison. Any drones that fall within the prison walls are immediately blasted w/ more shotguns. Any prisoners approaching said downed drones are shot, as well.

    Apologies for the Globull link.

    1. I am sorry to read this but not surprised. With all their savings plus coupons, it’s no surprise they are not making money. Sewing patterns for $1.99! I used to stock up when I was sewing. On one trip, I came away with $50 USD worth of goods which would have cost me over $150 CAD at home. Can’t beat that.

  5. Best wishes to all for a peaceful Sunday.
For some reason this one seems to be starting off better than others.
    Cheers

    1. Financial capitalism is based on the principle that instead of having children, everybody can save for retirement by buying stocks and bonds backed by the future labour power of someone else’s children. As such, it contributes to hastening the downfall of Gentile civilization, because it’s encouraged the Gentiles to stop reproducing.

Anybody who dares point that out is called an anti-Semite, which is laughable, really, because it suggests the Jews control the banks. They do not. (If they did, Jerusalem would be free of debt and could have afforded to liberate the entire Land of Israel long before now.)

Canada’s finance minister, the most notorious genteel national socialist on earth, knows what she’s about. It’s making the world safe for parasites like her mentor George Soros, not free enterprise.

  6. All that foreign money wouldn’t influence the policies of these US institutions, now would it?
