In summary, Canadians deserve the answers to the following questions: what is the nature of the relationship between CCI and the Liberal Party of Canada, how is CCI able to guarantee regular and exclusive access to Ministerial staff for its large corporate members, and how many other ministers, or members of their senior staff, are participating in exclusive meetings with CCI members or similar organizations?

These are the wages of the restrictions on donations to parties and other campaign finance BS brought in by former governments. The money will find its way to power, it just does so less transparently and the power is more centralized.
Influence peddling is not new. Caps on annual political donations have nothing to do with influence peddling.
When the Liberal government awards a major government contract without accepting bids, example CF-18 maintenance, that is influence peddling in action. Not surprising that this sort of thing happened before the capping of political donations.

it was just recently announced the Justin’s liberals are going to donate 241 million dollars to the Clinton Foundation. What could go wrong there.

As much as $100 million of the $250 million may have been for no work. The Liberals paid back $1.14 million. Get a grip. Isn’t there a Marxist loser site somewhere where you could nod your head in agreement?
Wally, he’s only donating 20 million taxpayers bucks to the Clinton Foundation,the rest of the 241 million goes to various other groups who are working diligently to make life better for women in third world Countries.
Only problem is most of those organizations exist to serve themselves and their bureaucracy,not the women who need it.
