  13. They are “Just in thinking” of the Liberal Party or I guess it is the clicking of the P.M.’s Heels which always brings the Proven Corruption of the Liberal Party into the Open.
    At least since the Internet allows the Suck-up Carear-ists of the CBC and the Minions of the Laurentien-Elite bought off Smearedia to be circumvented.
    Will this make any difference in future Elections? Well the Ontario Liberal Sludge were set back in the last By-election.
    (Y’all should see how much of your Tax-Payer Dollars are being Spent to Try and hold onto the St. Catharines Riding as the Feckless Liberal Cabinet Minister let the Niagara Region be “Stiffed” because We actually allowed a Conservative Leader to come from Niagara.)
    Will The Federal Liberals under Trudeau-Deuce be set-back?
    Well this Overt Corruption Play usually means the Liberal Policy # One “it is easier to Buy Urban Votes” is not getting the usual Traction. Maybe the Franco-Urbanites are not buying in or being bought by the Liberal Policy #One.

    building bridges in the province of Quebec and paying for them through
    the largess of “equalization” and “transfer payments”.
    So ……. there you go, Alberta! You get to pay for the service of
    providing Quebec with the world’s least expensive Day Care AND their
    well known bridge-building boondoggles! And let’s not forget about
    those other money-eating projects like Chretien’s “Canoe” museum.
    There is no end to Liberal corruption in Quebec.

  18. God forbid that the 2200 members of the Snowmobile group referenced in the article fork out $200 apiece or amortize it and pay a fraction of that. Vote buying, its why politicians shouldn’t get to play with money or they should only get one term.

I think the truly sad thing is that EVEN IF the CPC had found an inspired leader that respected conservative “ideals”, the unrelenting barrier of the leftist MSM and their intense propaganda war against anything conservative would still make the job near impossible. Right now, the Libranos are spending, wasting and probably outright stealing public funds at an alarming rate and NO ONE, from centrists to anywhere left, seems to give a shit. That Liberal politburo called the CBC, having been bought and paid for by the Liberanos with those same public funds, sure aren’t going to question their master.
    BTW, I also think a Conservative Party that fails to openly recognize and fight the dangers of political correctness to our society are no less the dangerous hypocrites than the LPC that fails to openly recognize and fight the dangers of Islam to our society.
    Ooh, always feel a little better after even a small rant.

  22. Better a $400K bridge for the use of snowmobilers — who in large numbers can actually be a force for economic development — than a $25 million plus ego boost for Calgary city council: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peace_Bridge_(Calgary) .
    Granted, the gratutiously named “Peace Bridge” looks nice. But they could have gotten a slightly-less-nice bridge for a lot less money. And this bridge has high ongoing maintenance costs for replacing lights and glass panels. It’ll be a monetary drag on the city budget for years.

  23. An economy consists of all acts of voluntary trade for mutual benefit based on each individual’s judgment of the value of the items up for exchange. Government intervention in any way, shape or form is detrimental to it.
