BBC: Concern at repair of Taiwanese military device in China
There are calls for greater safeguards in Taiwan after at least one device used by the military for its missiles was sent for repair in China.
An optical instrument used for launch measurements for Taiwan’s Hsiung-Feng III anti-ship missiles was shipped to its manufacturer in Europe.

Why isn’t Taiwan able to repair it?
Like us, they’ve probably become a vaunted “service economy.” (There’s a crescendo of symphonic music playing in the minds of the elite, when they say those words.)
Outsourcing everything to the 3rd world demonstrates that we are stronger, smarter and more dignified; until something physical actually has to be manufactured or repaired in expedited fashion. “Anyone here know how to change a tire?”
Here’s a reminder of how value is actually created:

Yup. The Chinese bull servicing the Canadian cow.
… and we get all our aspirin from the ChiComs. Enjoy your Fentanyl death … no more headache … total silence.
See? Even Trudeau’s treasured MAID program can be outsourced.
It would be intriguing to do some research and determine if MAID is more widely promoted in the prairie provinces than in the Kingdom of Kaybec.
What can go wrong here?
Don’t be surprised to find every Taiwanese anti-ship rocket unable to hit any Red Chinese ships.
Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they could be hacked to return to their point of origin/launch.
