  1. I think the vote was simply to test if the bots had been neutralized and enough raving libs had left. It’s now pretty balanced.

    1. I think you are right. I got the boot from Twitter after a bunch of bots went after me because I didn’t buy the 2020 election results or was neutral on Ukraine/Russia war. They team up in an organized fashion and are good at it.

      1. Trouble is, its a fake tweet Buttload is pushing.
Go to Trumps Twitter account and the last tweet was January 6, 2021.

  2. I sent a message to Elon… “Doing the correct thing here doesn’t require the popular vote.”

and I do like what’s been happening at Twitter in these past few weeks.

  3. Musk is a FILTHY LIBERAL. Nothing has changed. He is still censoring people. No single person should be banned if this is “The Town Square”. Musk is controlled opposition, like Ted Cruz, or Ron DeSantis. Donors or Chi-nah call the shots or Mitch the Putrid Slime from Kentucky. I could talk about his ugly face, but I won’t.

It isn’t the “Town Square” and never was. Soi-disant “conservatives” seem to have trouble understanding how the Internet works, not to mention how private corporations work. Twitter doesn’t owe you anything and never did.

    2. “Musk is controlled opposition, like Ted Cruz, or Ron DeSantis.”

Musk is far too wealthy to be ‘controlled’. The other two, sure…

  4. I can’t wait to see Trump’s first tweet. The man’s been a twitter troll of the highest order since he joined. Seriously look at his old tweets sometime he’s a stable genius.

  5. Not a huge fan…at all…, but it’s all show without Alex Jones…

And since Pfizer isn’t an advertiser anymore, lets’ really get some truth out there and pull society apart. And screw the Europeans. Shed light on their ‘governments’. Preferably with maps, photos of family members, house addresses and last known locations…

If there is any justice in the world, all those people who stopped posting because of this ownership change would have their ‘handles’ revoked after 30 days or so of disuse….corporations, politicians *and* Hollywood celebrities alike.

I can see a guy like Musk doing it, too.

  6. It is sad when a vote held on twitter can be watched in real time and is more open and trusted than one held to elect a government. Twitter can also count millions of votes in real time when the swing counties can only count votes slowly, then stop for a time only for the votes being counted to shift to a favoured candidate when the counting restarts.

I guess it’s harder when the voting process is not the point of an election but providing a show to justify the appointing of candidates that support the ruling party.
