    Lies on lies on lies from the MSM, my relatives repeat these lies with “good intentions” and I point out that I doubt their intentions are good, and I have no idea why they waste hours talking about how great the Sask. Roughriders are instead of engaging in meaningful debate.
    It’s like CBC/CTV/Global are there for their education… and they’re grade A students.

    After every major storm hits the USA, there’s data released which shows clearly that this storm isn’t unusual, and the relatives talk about it like every day is Earth Day and I should be thankful I’m alive still, after all we’ve put the planet through.

  7. Somewhat related. Ever notice the Weather Channel’s sleight of hand with respect to weather maps showing temps? More often than not they’ll have crimson or dark orange backgrounds deceiving viewers into subconsciously thinking that things are heating up despite the temperatures displayed being let’s say 15C or even lower.
    At least that’s what I think they’re trying to do.

    Was that mentioned here once before?

  11. I don’t know about the “intensifying hurricanes” narrative being deliberate misinformation, journalists are some of the stupidest people around. They will speak nonsense with a straight face because they have no idea it’s nonsense. Remember the Gell-Mann Amnesia Effect, it’s a real thing.

    Could they lose their media accreditation licenses for spreading false information about hurricanes and global warming?

    Many Canadians on the right think that cracking down on non-state sanctioned guns will reduce the homicide rate, indeed some regulars and an Orange Juice OP here think so, and when called on it, all they gots is “think of the children!!!”
