  1. We’ll Always Have Portland.
For life to have returned to “normal”, which is to say no tent cities remain, and no drug addicts shoot up openly on the streets, is obviously intolerable to the “tolerant” and caring left.

  2. hmmm. is smeone going to do a jfk on this mamdani slime?
‘live by the sword’ etc kinda thing

      1. I can see the sword of political assassination, swinging back the other way, it won’t be pretty. You think the first American civil war was ugly? This time the general public will be involved, not uniformed participants.

      2. oh look. 3 1/2 hours on, its still there.
are you offended by the phraseology or the sentiment?
something ‘implied’? or perhaps merely a question one could pose
about ANY controversial public figure quite a few in the crosshairs in the past

nah, l think the leftoids have covered the ‘copycat killer’ angle amply at this point
        and it does touch on the offensive practice of victim blaming when it does happen;
hint: google ‘charlie kirk deserved it’

        1. It would take a lot more to shock or offend me.

But does Kate want a blog where commenters advocate for or applaud political assassination? She didn’t use to. She used to get quite angry.

          1. They weren’t advocating for political assassination, just pondering some possible future tit for tat.

            Also, grow some balls.

          2. You asserted twice that the remark needed to be removed. It has not been removed. I would say Kate is giving you instruction in what kind of blog she wants. The problem is, you don’t seem to be paying attention.

The remark is clearly pure speculation with no applause or advocacy. You’re not easily shocked or offended. But you creep out at the drop of a hat.

          3. “Kate is giving you instruction in what kind of blog she wants.”

First, a decade ago she would have removed the post and berated the poster. I know because I’ve seen her do it.

Second, I doubt Kate read the post. OJ might have, but who knows what standards he/she upholds? I’ve seen stuff allowed that Kate has clearly forbidden, so obviously the contributors are a lot looser.

  3. Positively Darwinian.
Vis a vis “potential extinction” men should be grateful that women of a certain intelligence have branded themselves as undesirable.

  4. I genuinely hope Mamdani gets elected Mayor of New York. Why? It doesn’t help anyone to just want socialism. You have to experience it up front and personal in all its glory. Wait until he is elected (he leads the other candidates by double digits). The Democrat elite will step in to neuter him and his supporters will protest (violently), claiming Trump.

    1. They are finding out in Venezuela. Good. And. Hard.
Unfortunately, all the solutions being offered for the Venezuelans’ plight are more socialism. The sheeple will not choose a real solution. It has to be forced like Pinochet did for Chile, which it too has now reverted back again.

  5. I’m afraid that the No Kings protests were not nearly as successful in Canada. Despite the protests, we still appear to have a king, although no one can remember who is he is or what he does.

      1. We need a biblically sized cull.
Many Canadian women are schizoid retards.
They don’t want to be the “51st state”, but they want to protest the duly/legally elected US President’s policies…so they feel they have a stake?
In his first term they put vaginas on their heads and actually went to Washington to protest…his election.
        Not your country, bitches.
Their elbows are up, they’re urging their faggoty sons to get castrated, they’re inviting thousands of Muslims in to rape their daughters and Hindus in to shit on the beach and drive them off the road while urging war with Russia and demonizing Israel for daring to fight back against sub-human filth.

    1. He’s the genial old coot who made an ass of himself in Parliament this spring. I mean, the one who isn’t always there, there’s a few regulars like that.

  6. Re – Kinew introduces bill to limit notwithstanding clause use in Manitoba

“…new legislation that would make it more difficult for future governments to invoke the notwithstanding clause, ”
    ——————–
So he wants to rule even when he’s no longer in office. Wow!

Here’s a thought – any legislation that is brought in buy a current government can be rescinded by a future administration, so why bother?
