  4. Vassy is one of the most talented journalists, in the Art of Subtle, Gradual, Continual, Relentless, MANIPULATION of her viewership.
    Although she is one of the sleezist and slimiest of Canada’s on-air Media personalities, generally she’s been able to keep people thinking she’s clean and honest,,, all due to just how good she is, at using her subtle manipulation.
    She is so brazen, she would regularly have Rob Silver on her TV show as a guest, leading the viewers to think he was giving a independent, unbiased voice of Canadians. She never once, informed the audience the Rob Silver was the husband of Katie Telford, and was using her show, to push out Turdeau talking points.

  5. Vassy never seems to have any guests who are not bought and paid for mouthpieces of the Democrat party. Tim Powers, the thundering ass who often subs for her, is equally bad. A few days ago he interviewed a “former advisor to the State Department.” We learned that the Iranian regime is stronger than before, Trump is in an intractable mess, the U.S. is losing the war, etc. He and Vassy can always find some nincompoop Canadian general to echo similar sentiments. That is what passes for journalism in this benighted country.

  6. Who or what is a Vassy. Never heard of her before now and therefore I am well informed. This proves one does not need to watch network programming to know what is going on. I also don’t need them to shape my thinking.

  9. Vassy is just a well fed (judging by that huge caboose) tool of Bell, pure Laurentian Elite establishment, doing the job she’s paid for, keeping the masses dumb and obedient. In a real country said elite would have been dragged from their ivory towers and butchered in the streets by an angry mob of citizens, In the shitstain which is Canada, the sheep just take it, over and over.

  10. She is vile, for sure, but that’s not news to anyone who has ever watched her (or the majority of Canadian ‘journalists’). What IS new is her being called to account for it so perfectly.

    (I would ask if there was any push-back from the Conservative MP (I assume?) she was ‘interviewing’, but that would be a silly question, wouldn’t it?)

    Vesper gave a good point about how self interest (aka pursuit of happiness) is a natural response.
    It’s not an excuse for bad behaviour and bad faith actors, but it’s something we need to keep in mind that politics is the art of compromise, that is, to get your opponent to compromise on their principles.
