  1. I’m surprised she talks so much about social media without mentioning the role of psychoactive drugs. SSRIs and some others are known to have suicidal and even homicidal ideation as side effects. They’re also popular because they’re the one thing that take teenagers’ minds off sex. So, yes, when we feed SSRIs to the young, there’s more suicidal and less sexual thinking.

    Without SSRIs, social media would probably be dismissed as something for children when they started dating in real life. With SSRIs, who knows, social media may be preferred.
