    1. L – Ian Runkle is one of the best lawyers in Canada, certainly so for calm, reasoned analysis; something enhanced by his sense of humour. A sense of humour will get you through more difficulties than most anything else. This especially so, if you have others to share it with.

    1. L – That makes him the head of the new ‘official’ religion of no longer Great Britain. Though, I hear rumours, Richard the Lion Heart is organizing a crusade to liberate the hearts and minds and streets, in order to unite the United Kingdom, once again… the flag of St George flies, evermore. There are hard times ahead, But “Britons shall never, never, never be slaves!”

    3. Ah the Toronto Star. My father used to get that paper. One day they told him they no longer delivered to our rural area. They reimbursed him for what was left of his subscription. So he subscribed to the Hamilton Spectator while now arrives daily.

      One day, a few years ago now, the Toronto Star was running a subscription special and reached out to my father by telephone. Of course they delivered to his address – or they wouldn’t have phoned. So he re-subscribed. But no they don’t deliver here anymore so they re-imbursed.

      Recently the delivery guy was a bit late and my father met him in the driveway. He apologized because he was short Hamilton Spectator news papers but he could offer a Toronto Star instead.

      And they’re losing money? How is that possible?

    From Tim Houston’s point of view …

    “Houston has said that illegal cannabis represents a serious harm to Nova Scotians. The province allows cannabis sales only at the Crown-owned Nova Scotia Liquor Corp. locations, one of which is located in a First Nation community.”

    My thoughts … if cannabis is harmful then why sell it even through Crown-owned locations? If it’s safe enough to sell through the government, it’s safe enough to sell through FN. Although the money wouldn’t be going through “the right hands”.
