  1. I’ve been watching this guy for a few weeks. He provides the background info I don’t have time to chase, very good. As he points out over and over again, the headline of this series should be “We don’t want no flaming sparky cars”

    1. The “extension cord” of my full tank of gasoline is farrrrrr longer than the largest, heaviest, toxic battery of the most expensive EV. And then, when that EV has used up its extension cord … it has to take at least an hour to fully replenish its extension cord … don’t give me the “quick”, partial charge nonsense … I refill my extension cord in a few minutes, and I’m on my way.

I refuse to drive my car, like I have to drive my iPhone … constantly worried about losing a charge and finding a public outlet at an airport or coffee shop. No thanks.

      1. The way California is going, soon you won’t have to worry about not having enough electricity or gas. You won’t have either.

        1. No … but … the State will finally … “get people out of their cars”™️ … and … “end our addiction to fossil fuels”™️

So there’s THAT virtue to commit to Gaia

  2. As someone who used to live and breathe the Blue Oval, I just shrug now. Been shrugging for over 10 years.
While still keeping the ol F350 coal burner and the older Stang ragtop, the newer gens of Fords are largely crap, and the company has lost its way. The Coyote 5.0 is the only thing they’ve done right for the last 10 years. That said, they’ve made the Mustang unaffordable to the commoner, and turned the GT500 into a super car that no one asked for. Given the choice, gearheads still choose the Vette over it.
A company that still doesn’t understand that displacement beats turbos for drive ability and longevity doesnt deserve its customers.
Im looking for an SUV, and there’s no way that it will be an Explorer, or any other Ford. Seems only Japanese vehicles have the quality and longevity worth putting 50k into.

    1. I was also a Ford loyalist for decades. An early 70’s F350 flatbed was my daily driver for 5 years.
The electric(ugliest ever) Mustang was absolutely the end for me. Such an insane way to destroy the value of that marque.
