The Dirty Little Secret Of Democrat Governance

Nobody needs to stay in Virginia.

After nearly a decade in Virginia, Boeing announced on Wednesday that it is moving its Defense, Space & Security headquarters out of the state back to St. Louis. This comes just weeks after new Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger took office, replacing Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin.[…]

The departure comes just over a month after Spanberger took office as Virginia’s governor. Though she campaigned as a pragmatic centrist, critics have said her day-one actions depict a very different approach.

In a flurry of executive orders after her inauguration, the Democrat rescinded Youngkin’s 287(g) order that instituted cooperation with ICE, reprioritized diversity, equity and inclusion, and seized on broad affordability initiatives, including housing regulation reviews that align with progressive approaches to zoning.

And nobody needs to play in Chicago.

  1. And this is why the federal government need do nothing about the politicians of California, Illinois, New York, Virginia, etc. — Mamdani, Walz, Spanaberger, Newsome, et al.
They are going to do it to themselves…and the citizens of their particular states and municipalities. The voters voted for this (perhaps with some cheating, perhaps not), and they will get to live with it. There really is no better way to prime the public.
Is that harsh? Yes it is, and many innocent people will get to suffer because of the stupidity of their peers, but it is perhaps necessary.
PS. I live in a blue state, so I’m not sitting on my high horse here. It’s going to absolutely suck, already does.

    1. In Illinois, the cemetery vote never complains about increasing taxes, increasing government salaries or the exposure of political kickbacks and bribes – pay to play. The cemetery vote is the ideal constituency catered to by all IL Democrats.

      1. Hence the reason why Congress Democrats have been kicking and screaming about the SAVE Act, even though most of the Democrat voters (living and legal) have polled in favor of it.

And it is of note that even the Democrat voters are polling in favor — at least some people are starting to feel a little discomfort.

  2. Maybe it has something to do with the DEI smell, from the water system that is run by the same guy who used to run Flint, MI

  3. “Nobody needs to stay in Virginia.”

Yes Virginia. There is a “See Ya” clause. nyuck, nyuck, nyuck

  4. this all reminds me a joke going around 80s or so, the tax base was narrowed down
to one hard working very resentful individual.

  5. Don’t worry Chicago! Da Bears … can be replaced with a B-League soccer team that is ashamed to play on stolen land. The Oakland Raiders have already been replaced.

Well … TBF … the city of Oakland has been stolen. Just not by the people they think … but by the Marxist, Black Panther brand of Socialism.

  6. While Mamdani gets all the headlines Spanberger is demonstrably left of Mamdani.
She’s been given a low profile. The local evening news is town local or orange man bad local; not much state level reporting.
Spanberger will be the 2028 Democratic candidate. FYI she will be giving the rebuttal to Trump’s State of The Union address this Tuesday. So if you’re a horror fan (swamp creatures etc.) or just interested in having a little foreknowledge, be sure to “witness the power of this fully armed and operational battle station.” As near as I can tell, her masters love her and are doing everything they can for her. She is Vader, more than any other I’ve seen.
