If It Weren’t For Fake Hate

There’d be no hate at all.

There is a major verdict out of Texas where a mother and an attorney were ordered to pay millions for perpetuating an alleged hate crime hoax that was eagerly spread by the mainstream media. Asher Vann, a minor at the time, was labeled a racist maniac who tortured SeMarion Humphrey, his black classmate, with other classmates. After the court found that the allegations were false and intentional infliction of emotional distress, the same media that spread the story remained conspicuously silent. Crickets. […]

The Vann case is likely to be reviewed by many lawyers outside Texas. It is a case that could be replicated in future cases involving lawyers accused of fueling reckless or inflammatory public claims. The fact that the damages were evenly divided between the mother and the lawyer shows the level of culpability that the jury assigned to the role of the lawyer.

  1. I am constantly amazed at how quickly people believe initial reports. It’s okay to say “I don’t know” or “Let’s wait for the facts to come out” or “Let’s do some investigation first.”

The Covington Catholic High School debacle is a case in point. People’s condemnation of the student was based on a single photo. A video of the event — which took a couple of days to emerge — told a completely different story.

    1. Sure – Have police investigate…present the facts to a prosecutor… trial by judge…testimony concerning the facts of the case by police and witnesses …Slam dunk Judgement…sentencing, and at the end of it all have it overturned by a higher court because something something rights.
I hated myself last night and thought I’d give The Truth About Jussie Smollett? a try. Why there’s an idiotic question mark at the end of the title is anyone’s guess. But it becomes quite clear why in the last 40 minutes. It’s true…you can get people to believe whatever you want them to believe.
In the future it’ll be impossible to be found guilty for anything.

      1. Or more to the point, and whichever political stance you take, it will be possible to find someone guilty of something. Find the man, find the crime and all that.

      Now do COVID vaccines.

    3. n.b. some ‘mothers’ have a demonic streak.
mine was a sexual abuser who hurled my down a flight of stairs for . . . .
dusting the trim the wrong way? yep. l was slapping it instead of wiping.
down l went head first. she also kicked my out of the house 10:30 p.m. 2 weeks before
l was headed out anyway; had to rob me of THAT ‘rite of passage’
Karma fixed her, aka ‘massive brain hemhorrage’ 20 years befor her time.

hmmph. far out, the residence and source of such evil, the very thing targetted.
the list goes on. lm still here to talk about it.

  2. Media are complicit in pushing narratives. The excuse for not correcting the matter is always “we didn’t find it newsworthy. Besides we’ve moved on to something else.”

  3. “…it also means that “statements made during an occasion outside a judicial proceeding are not covered.” Thus, while “[t]he duties and actions of a lawyer in representing a client are not confined to judicial proceedings,” the court ruled that interviews with a reporter would fall outside of the privilege.”
No doubt the trial lawyers associations nationwide are deeply concerned.

  4. Not quite.

The hatred of black Americans for “crackers” is all too real.

So is the hatred of Muslims for Christians and Jews.

As is the hatred of Chinese supremacists for the blue-eyed devils.

Good luck finding reports about real ethnic hatred in your local birdcage liner.

  6. What is a lawyer .. what do they actually do? For centuries (millennia, actually) scribes, pharisees and sadducees have built a “legal” tyranny that reaches into every corner of our lives. Their cold-hearted manipulations are never more obvious than when they “defend” criminals a common person would condemn. Due process is one thing but obstructing Justice is a despicable other thing.

  7. People love to scream “Witch” as much now as ever.
Their rabidity has never been more effective as Hate organizations like BLM profit so quickly, especially when the MSM amplifies it.

  8. Shut up and..Burn,Loot Murder!
Nice court decision, now will these two liars do jail time when they fail to pay up?
Witch Trials are all the rage, accusing the innocent to serve an agenda..so the witch and her lawyer raised money on framing an school child..What is it really going to cost them?
I use the “3 week rule”,on all state funded media.
By about 211 days, the rest of the story, usually that which cripples the chosen narrative, starts to trickle out.
And we have come to see just who the real “haters” are, as they projectile vomit their own intolerance over us all.
“Racist” heh, this is becoming a badge of honour.

  9. Just curious … will Go Fund Me demand repayment of those fraudulently obtained funds to the donors? Go Fund Me STOLE my donation to the Truckers … and so I demand they sue the mother for the return of all the ill-gotten monies.

  10. Given the frequent witch burnings, gay bashings, and, slave markets that occur on a daily basis beyond the limits of Toronto, the City of Light, I think a little slack should be given to the good intentions of these whistle blowers on the road to a perfect, progressive world.

    1. Well, last time I set foot outside Toronto, I was impressed. I mean, into serfdom! Barely escaped with my life.
