I see that Jonathon Turley still doesn’t understand (or is reluctant to admit) that this is a fully paid rent-a-riot, not a social movement.

No….Turley completely understands it….as he says, the problem with fueling mobs is controlling them.
A rent-a-mob requires that malign actors ‘seed’ the true believer’s ranks with a handful of focused and driven mercenary activists to ignite the spark. That being said, controlling an unhinged mob, and keeping them on target without them out-scheming and turning on each other, or their agitators.. That’s the trick. Turley is spot on here..
lm a big fan of relying on statistical probability as a rough guage what might be looming.
over the course of centuries, we see a real bad guy pop up randomly. starting with ghengis khan pillaging and slaughtering.
generally speaking a really bad guy is the only one of import. we only had one napoleon bonaparte back when.
but, 20th century? we got hitler stalin and mao. generally speaking more really bad guys and they are overlapping. idi amin? a cannibal? pol pot killing 1/4 population of cambodia to get an ‘ideal’ level? ouch.
today’s skill testing question, what are we to do when we wind up with saddamsaddams all over the place? cpl dozen of them outdoing each other?
