Recently I ran across an AI video which examines the problem of steam engine boiler explosions on farms in the 19th century. Starting with an image of a steam engine hooked up to a running threshing machine with no drive belt connecting them, it just got worse from then on. I cannot find any independent references to anyone mentioned in the video. The alleged design of the “miracle” valve, consisting of a brass ball with no spring to hold it closed against safe steam pressure, makes no sense whatsoever. Some days I really fear for the future.

There are increasing numbers of bullshit AI videos on youtube. Something like “They laughed at Sgt Schmidlap from Podunk Illinoi, but he hacked a P-38 controls with a piano wire and his pilot shot down 6 zeros in the next dogfight, turning inside them.” Or “Capt Smith saw a lone B-17 over Germany and escorted him 500 miles back to England, shooting down 5 German fighters with his 20mm cannons” etc. All of them impossible, all of them bullshit. The errors are obvious (aircraft range, wrong armament, etc) but it’s always the same story: some nobody did something miraculous, etc etc. About half the comments call B.S., but the other half are comments like “The engineers that produced the P-38 didn’t shit from shinola and shoulda listened to the elisted men. (Kelly Johnson designed the P-38, lead the Skunkworks and designed the SR-71). So the bullshit videos are making people dumber.
There are a ton of Canadian war videos where the hats, uniforms, and weapons are all made up and pronunciations are wrong and decidedly strange. I doubt many of the facts are actually real.
uh, wasnt there a totally unrelated video in this posting?
is AI running SDA now?
It starts with a whopper, that’s for sure. 400 psi out of an 1890’s tractor boiler? – it would’ve exploded a lot lower than that!

Heh..The “wisdom of the internet”.
We have moved from”It says in the Bible” to “The computer saz”
Now the truly amusing aspect of this A.I dreck is the observation,
A.I nonsense is more accurate than government funded media.
Random sentences generated by computer program, make more sense than “journalist”..
Too funny.
