    1. Interesting that Pollievre is once again copypasting the script, almost verbatim. Perhaps that’s why he didn’t get my President’s support.

I hear he will not be running in the riding most generously gifted to him if there is an election.

    2. A Houston friend sent me this video this morning. Very interesting.

I’ll add it as a “Related item” on a 3pm EST post later today.

  1. On the weekend Lord Carney explained to his loyal, bought and paid for media, that parliament is important. Yesterday parliament opened it’s new session, and Carney was in Toronto having pizza with his buddy Ford.

    1. Some might think that the various ‘public’ pension plans should invest in Canada? If they don’t, doesn’t that suggest that they think there are greener fields abroad?

    1. Staggering government intrusion and power over the public. Allowing 100 free travel days between 15 minutes zones? Sheesh.

    2. Amazing what vague promises of free stuff will accomplish. Like hogs at the swill, the voters greed for other people’s money will always end up at the packers.

    1. Gore’s biggest mistake IMO was his reversing the temperature and CO2 profiles where he claimed CO2 goes up first, then temperature, when in fact CO2 lags temperature by up to 700 years.

      1. The lag could be ocean temperate following air temperature. As ocean temperature increases it can hold less CO2 and it ends up in the air – 700? years later..

    1. When I see a big hungry cougar, I resist the urge to pet it. I know he considers me one thing – food. Almost 100 years of Disney has warped people. A few years ago we were driving though Yellowstone and traffic suddenly stopped for about 10 minutes. A crowd of idiots were standing near a bear for a better look.

  2. Crown is appealing both Tamara Lich and Chris Barber’s sentences.
Murderers of course go free because so many resources are wasted on :

“So many resources are being directed to this trial it’s truly staggering. It’s obvious there aren’t enough court resources, as real criminals are being let go without facing trial. Earlier this month, in Ottawa, two men accused of a deadly 2021 bounty-related killing in Ottawa were freed after a judge ruled their right to a reasonably speedy trial had been violated. Shockingly, one of the men had been previously accused of a separate 2015 murder only to have those charges withdrawn over issues with the case.

Imagine being let go twice, on two separate murder charges, without so much as a trial, yet for Tamara, she was held in jail for 49 days without bail, and has been dragged through the courts for 4 years, and they’re still not done! Tamara tells me this already was the longest mischief trial of all time in a commonwealth country.”

    1. The government doesn’t care about serf on serf crime. The government only cares about being stood up to.

Emory University fires Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani, daughter of Iran official

Pressure to address Ardeshir-Larijani’s immigration and employment status gained steam after The Post reported on an online petition that nearly 100,000 people signed that called on the US government to immediately deport her.
The heat on Emory intensified when furious demonstrators descended on the medical center on Jan. 19, waving signs that read, “Did you know Iran terror chief’s daughter is your co-worker?”
