    1. Huge stockpiles of EVs that all phone home to Chinese servers, and can all be remote controlled from China. As in, they can tell your BYD EV to leave your driveway, drive down to the corner of Spruce and Bruce, and go on fire. Or block the intersection along with ten more EVs.

Or just tell the Chinese server everywhere you go and send video of it all. From ten cameras, in 4K.

What could possibly go wrong? Particularly when a Tesla goes for $55K, and a BYD is $15K. This is what we call economic warfare, where the Chicoms destroy all the car companies in the world by dumping cars.

Be a shame if something might happen to them, eh? Like a 2000% tariff on Chicom cars? Cryin’ shame.

      1. Just did a survey from EKOS research the other day asking your opinions about EVs and Chinese EVs at that .
Not hard to think what kind of ideas Carney has up his sleeve.

      2. This is what we call economic warfare, where the Chicoms destroy all the car companies in the world by dumping cars. They’ve used it in many other industries, often abetted by globalist corporations who then had their technology and methods stolen.

I get the various Home Lottery junk mail flyers and this year all of the luxury cars offered as prizes are *EVs (fully electric, PHEV, MHEV, etc). Including an F150 Lightning, which IIRC Ford just stopped making.

It’s a perfect storm: Canada won’t back down on 60% electric by 2030, the US isn’t making EVs any more, and China won’t be dumping EVs here because we’re in a trade war with them.

      1. Or Korean woman drivers who put their 4-way flashers on because they’re not sure which way they’ll turn, left or right.

  1. It’s amazing what technology can accomplish when the government doesn’t care how many people get run over, eh?

Being a motorcyclist I found the one with the scooter sticking out of it particularly irritating. Anybody think #ScooterDude got his bike back? Or got a settlement from the robot company for running him down? Doubt it.

Yup, AI can make some very interesting vids

    1. I will laugh when a driverless vehicle crashes and a robot gets out to kick the tires.

  2. As a reminder, the CCP like most government implementing one of the poisoned branches of marxism, the individual doesn’t matter, and can be easily sacrificed for the “greater good”

    1. L – .”The individual human beings of earth must be sacrificed for the benefit of the Chinese Communist Party.” Who can party it up like the warlords of ancient dynasties. Who have bought the souls of their running dog Western leaders. The most famous of which was ironically, known by the initials PE.T. and of course the son of P.E.T. . Whose socks and leash were made in China.

Is the current Canadian ship of state, a Chinese driverless E.V., too?
