L – Canada is not bankrupt, but approaching ever closer. Its political actors are and performative only in their role. In eastern Canada about 60% supported the gov’t. Lockdowns and mandates.
On the prairies, it was the reverse. That has yet to play out its implications.

Without a shared culture and values, there is no nation and no nation-state. The two solitudes of English and French Canada turned into three. The West, the East and Quebec. Three solitudes do not a nation-state make. China is not a viable substitute for the 19th/20 century
