I use a combination of blind and non-blind test scores to show that middle school teachers favor girls in their evaluations. This favoritism, estimated as individual teacher effects, has long-term consequences: as measured by their national evaluations three years later, male students make less progress than their female counterparts. On the other hand, girls who benefit from gender bias in math are more likely to select a science track in high school. Without teachers’ bias in favor of girls, the gender gap in choosing a science track would be 12.5% larger in favor of boys.

This suggests that school exams and assignments should be graded anonymously — that is, the student’s identity should be hidden from the grader.
That might be hard to do in practice.
We need to get men back into education. Boys are being virtually castrated by the depressed women who have taken over education.
It starts in Kindergarten. The local hens who ran the elementary schools in my town didn’t allow boys to enter Kindergarten till age 6. All the girls … mine included … started at age 5. My two boys were held back till age 6. All my kids had Spring birthdays. The hens insisted that boys didn’t mature as quickly as girls, and hence they needed to be held back.
Then … these clucking hens BANNED my children from bringing nerf footballs to play with before school started in the morning. Why? Because a 5th grade bully stole my 2nd grade son’s nerf football … and threw it on the roof. The Janitor would go collect it off the flat roofed buildings. It happened 2 or 3 times. After that … what did the Principal do? She BANNED all balls brought from home. Punish the bully? Ha! That would anger the bully’s parents … so the elementary school hens clucked and just BANNED the boys positive physical activity.
Yes, there are far too many women teaching our boys with their poisonous estrogen. We desperately need a testosterone antivenin.
I was a bright kid. Got skipped from Grade 2 to Grade 4 (which put me in the same class as my old sister!), and was still the smartest kid in the class. So I got into a fair amount of trouble. Then I went to Jr. High for grades 7-9, and the incredibly high stress environment of 350 teens in a small school had me feuding with authorities all the time.
Then my dad had me write the scholarship exams for a boys’ school and to his surprise, I won. What a difference. With all boys (and all streamed as well), I suddenly was in a class of my peers. Many of them were just as smart as I was, so I didn’t have to sit there while teachers slowed everything down to the stupidest’s pupil’s pace.
I thrived there. Principal’s List, university scholarship at graduation, played on many sports teams, etc. But I also loved the atmosphere. With no girls or female teachers, the environment was unashamedly male. The rough and tumble of the classroom, where both masters and students would be on the end of jibes, mostly humourous, some not, was heavenly to me, instead of the stultifying deadness of public school. “Feelings” was nothing more than a song sung by some woman our mothers loved!
I firmly believe that young men should be schooled separately from young women. Sex is a distraction in the classroom.
