  1. I would support shortening the name to SharKaur Day. Or Trudeau Day.
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue.

    1. National Day of Bull Sh*t and Extortion. I already call it that and correct anyone that still calls it by that old title.

  2. Stupidity only defines those that fall for the racist grifter’s deceit. Never in the history of debauched Canadian thinking have such bold faced lies from so few been swallowed so easily by so many and at such great cost.

  3. Blame whitey day. Wait … we already have more of those than 2sLGBTQueer-mutant days/months/seasons

  4. Sadly, there has never been any truth involved…or reconciliation, for that matter. “Give us more money” just doesn’t cut it.

I look forward to Pierre Poilievre calling for another national inquiry where some of the thousands of natives who had positive experiences at Canadian residential schools will also be allowed to testify (including the ones who claim that the experience *saved their lives*).

  5. Lets start with the truth, by digging up those ground radar echoes. Then we see about reconciliation.

    1. “Lets start with the truth, by digging up those ground radar echoes. ”

Or at least get back the 12 MILLION dollars of taxpayer money that we gave them to do the digging.

  6. I don’t even know if this report on the MLA is true, I’ll assume it’s not because ‘news’ lies all the time. But Keith’s response is brilliant.
