There May Be Something Fishy With Big Apple Turkeys

The latest fundraising initiative by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is raising the eyebrows of many:

This fundraiser is for the birds.

Power-hungry “Squad” member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) cooked up a new way to have her cake and eat it too this Thanksgiving – by tying her annual turkey giveaway to her massive reelection campaign enterprise. And critics are crying fowl.

“Thanksgiving is two weeks away,” the self-described “Bronx girl” wrote in an email pitch last week. “Will you chip in $5 or anything you can today to help us bring the joy of the holiday season into homes around NYC this year?”

  1. What is really odd is she’s using one of the vestiges of the “colonists” to use as a fund raiser.
I thought things like thanksgiving day was ray suss?

  2. I just saw Turkeys for $0.79/lb at the local SoCal Ralph’s. In 1970 turkeys sold for $0.35/lb. A $0.44/lb increase over a 55 year span!! If only everything else had inflated at those rates … AOC would still be tending bar begging for tips instead of campaign donations.

God bless Ag business … and modern farming techniques

  3. Perhaps AOC could team up with MTG in the giving out of turkeys — the View could do a live show at the event!

      1. Perhaps the often used photo of the President and Jefferey, but it would make for such a heartwarming ‘bipartisan’ holiday event!
They could do it adjacent to the Macy’s parade; Mamdani could DJ the event! They could round up some of the No Kings! protestors from their retirement villages to do another round of line dancing. A glorious time could be had by all!
