Be a shame if people found out where their local politician lives and dumped plastic in their green bins, or food stuff into the recycle bins.
I believe radio host Michael Savage has amended his original statement from “liberalism is a mental disorder” to “liberalism is an extreme mental disorder”.

It’s not just San Diego. Here in my lovely little Nor CAL suburb we were notified the lid-lifters were coming this past week. And my “law” compliant wife has been going nuts over which can to place which trash into. The Blue Recycle Can, or the Green Recycle can, or the Black Trash can?
For example: cardboard Amazon boxes can go into the Blue Recycle can … but not soiled, grease-stained cardboard pizza boxes. And while cardboard can go into the Blue can … crumpled or “flimsy” paper cannot. Glass and plastic containers can go into the Blue cans … but you need to thoroughly rinse out all containers before placing them in the cans. Pull off the ketchup bottle lid and flush out all remaining ketchup from the bottle. Yes, you need to do the recycler’s job FOR them.
So when the lid-polizia show up … they will be checking for unrinsed containers … greasy pizza boxes in the wrong can … and a host of eco-crimes. And yeah, Adam Carolla … people in my neighborhood can afford to pay the fines. And WILL pay the eco-fines lest a lien be placed against their property by the eco-polizia.
Yeah … I will be moving to Nashville … or the backside of the Sierra in Nevada.
And to find your greasy pizza box they have to step over 20 drug addicts with a needle in their arm and 40 piles of turds on the sidewalk.
Tape a $20 to the inside of the can lid once a month. Payola. It works.
Or dump your trash at a nearby homeless encampment. That works too.
It’s not just crazy CA that does this…When we lived in British Columbia, CANADA, they had the same LID LIFTERS that would go around and then put a sticker on your BIN advising you what you did wrong………ALL SO STUPID cause Mr STOSSEL had a video showing only 15% of the recycled materials made it to the RECYCLE Depot…..75% went to the LANDFILL ………so we just put ALL OUR HOUSEHOLD STUFF IN THE BLACK BIN FOR GARBAGE………saved everyone a lot of time trying to figure out what goes where……(: (:

Turns out, here in #BlubberDouggie’s Funtario, baled plastic recycle waste sells for -much- less than the trucking costs. TL/DR, -all- of it goes in the landfill.
I’ve been to the local landfill. Recycle truck backs up next to the garbage truck, and they both tip.
If this was the stupidest and most useless waste of motion that government perpetrates on an oblivious public, we’d be in great shape. Sadly, it’s not.
