Keir Starmer’s Britain

Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch, and this isn’t footage from some backward reservation in British Columbia.

  1. … and this isn’t footage from some backward …

And I expected to read “third world country” … and Kate makes me laugh once again. Yes … we’re ALL third world countries now.

I find it interesting that this illegal garbage dump was created by … criminal gangs. Yeah, disposal of waste is a viable profit center, hence ripe for criminal activity. I can only imagine what the dump fees are in the UK … but here in my slice of Nor CAL heaven … it costs an average of $140 to dump my little 6’x10’x3’ dump trailer at the local sanitary (recycling) dump site. The cost is outrageous and easily runs into the $10’s of thousands for large remodel/building projects. Speaking of inflated costs that never make it onto the CBO statistics. And yes, I have to provide recycling receipts that prove >50% of all construction waste was recycled. Just another “green” government regulation that adds to the unaffordable housing problem.

  2. Here we go.
There was a link to a youtube video here some time ago about a city in Bangladesh that was horrifically polluted in every way: exhaust fumes, animal waste, butcher scraps, noise. There was a river filled with trash just like this. The first thing to think when seeing it was that these people will be doing it in the west when we import enough of them.

  3. I don’t know why everyone is jumping to the conclusion that it was migrants who did that. (Okay I do know why, and it probably was, but humor me a second.)

A dumping that size took a fleet of trucks. Lots of drivers. It all had to be loaded somewhere. Stored somewhere. It all came from somewhere too.

When governments massively overcharge for waste disposal, and make the whole thing a huge bureaucratic mess, private enterprise will be quite happy to move that garbage for a much smaller fee. Dumping it in a massively dis-approved location like that makes it the -government’s- problem now.

Same reason half or more of the smokes in Ontario are smuggled: taxes. Lower the taxes, it isn’t lucrative to illegally dump garbage.

You know why homeless encampments always have huge piles of garbage? Local businesses pay the homeless to “steal” their garbage and dump it at the encampment.

And isn’t it funny that in England, the most relentlessly surveilled country in the West, the authorities can’t trace down some garbage dumpers? That’s the thing that really stands out to me. Almost as if they were in on it…

        1. Imagine being the local Constable Plod who has to explain to the mayor why it’s “impossible” for the millions of local cop cameras to track the dumpers. That guy’s face is red today, eh? ~:D

      1. Not only that … but it wouldn’t be rocket science to find discarded mail, or other personal documents of the SOURCE of the trash … whom can be fined for their trash ‘mysteriously’ ending up in the river.

    1. “When governments massively overcharge for waste disposal,”

This exactly right, the Phantom. This is government caused.
Garbage is everywhere because of government sucking up to Gang Green.
We didn’t have this kind of problem until government created it.

    1. Exactly, that’s an entire river. A whole goddamn river full of garbage! How the hell does that even happen? We are so cooked!! Haha

  4. still cannot fathom why a nation CHOSE to bring this raining down on their OWN heads,
let alone half a dozen of them. yo britannia, how’s the underage sex trafficking working out?
they learned *nothing* in some 1,000 years?
does this have anything to do with their time in the EU?

    1. “yo britannia, how’s the underage sex trafficking working out?”

About the same as it is in the USA and Canaduh. They’re just more outraged about it in the UK, because it’s THEIR kids getting “trafficked” instead of foreigners.

Which brings up the point, where did all the demand for this sort of thing spring up from? Nobody would be doing it if there was no money in it, right? Same as garbage dumping.

  5. I thought Britain was a Shithole, on their way to becoming a Hellhole, but I guess becoming a Dump within a Great Shithole is a stage in becoming a Hellhole…?

  6. This is known as “Fly-Tipping.” It’s been going on in the UK forever. And, remarkably, if you bring up convictions over the last five years, you will find a list of standard English names. Apparently, it really is “organized crime” in the traditional sense. They go so far as to set up fake companies, fake logos, and have a fleet of trucks (lorries).

Unfortunately, the UK won’t release names if the case is still pending. And, they have a tendency to hide the names of a person is an obvious immigrant, so take my comment above with a grain of salt.

  7. I pulled up the traffic cams for Oxford. https://trafficcameras.uk/roads/

Whoever it was isn’t completely stupid. The area of the above video shows a highway alongside the dump. That roadway (the best I can tell) would be A4095. Or, rather, that roadway will take you to A4095. But, at that particular location, it switches over to a municipal road (probably not subject to national traffic cams). So, there are no cams in that immediate area. A few miles down the road, and it changes back into A4095. So the dumping area was probably not random.

There would be eye witnesses to the truck dumping, but as noted above, they use false placards.

    1. Nice research Orson. Yeah … absolutely NOT random … just this certain stretch of road and river not covered by cameras.

Although … our local police don’t need to video the actual crime taking place … but can use video of the movement of criminals vehicles moving in the vicinity of the crime scene… and in many cases can follow them on camera … all the way back to their homes/headquarters.

      1. “…and in many cases can follow them on camera … all the way back to their homes/headquarters.”

Yas, hence my point above that it is very “curious” that nobody has done that here. Or checked the license plates of trucks appearing in the area. Or done anything at all, really. Despite Britain having traffic cams and CCTV surveillance and fricking Ring cams on every telephone pole, light standard, fence post and front door.

Almost as if money were involved, somehow…

  8. Has this been confirmed as real? …like not just a temporary storage or waste transfer site for shredded construction debris?

It’s not actually in the river. Looks like a pit or quarry next to it.

  9. At some past time we burnt that shit and made power.
    But No said the Greenies.
At least the Danes got something tight.

    1. It’s funny, a guy out here in Haldimand tried to get a plasma furnace built many years ago. Had the land arranged and everything, spent a fortune getting it going before the province stiffed him and he lost everything he invested. Greenies.

Would have been pretty great to have a guy -buying- garbage and making power and refined materials out of it. If a guy buys garbage, all the little scumbags with a dump truck will be running around finding illegal dump sites and cleaning them up, instead of making more.

What a freaking concept, eh? Greenies never seem to think of that. Funny, isn’t it?

  10. Anyone been out to Brampton lately? check out the area behind the shopping centers, looks exactly like this. this is what happens when you import 3rd world culture.
