      I guess Canada has became as UNIPARTY a nation as Britain. Sad. Trust me … living in a supermajority State of CA … and watching this formerly beautiful State degrade into 3rd world status … I foresee terrible trouble for Canada.

      1. I am currently meandering through your state. It may be supremely politcally/ culturally degraded however the landscape is extrodinarily beautiful. The people I have run accross, out in the small towns along the way, pleasant, hard working, salt of the earth. So far have not been in any centres of significance.

        1. Gavin just remapped all of those RED towns and Counties you’re driving through … eliminating their votes and their representation. They won’t be so pleasant in the next few years. But yes, the people and landscape throughout rural CA are quite lovely.

  2. I will take a wild guess based on what we now know has been going on in the USA. Rumour was he was going to cross the floor. I will speculate that the corrupt RCMP working for the Lieberals got something on him or a family. He refused to cross the floor but the threat was real enough he just quit.

In this push-poll story from CBC yesterday, the “journalist” noted “With one MP already crossing the floor to join the Liberals, Carney now needs only two more votes, or abstentions, to pass his budget”. Wishful thinking by the CBC or an inside line or something more sinister? Corruption in the Liberal-CBC power axis is most evident when they are being threatened.

  8. I’m of the opinion that it’s moot as the fate of this country, once the west is forced to separate or be bankrupted by Ottawa, is dissolution.
    There won’t be a “Canada” to govern.
    So it’s irrelevant if Carney gets his majority by collusion or not.

  9. It’s been mostly crickets from the Cuckservatives and that certain age demographic that thought PeePee was going to be the second coming of Bryan Mulroney or whatever other corrupt centrist from the early 90’s that they still hold near and dear.

    Maybe, maybe, maybe, now they’ll listen to legitimate conservatives and the younger generation that doesn’t rely on CNN, Fox, or CTV for their current affairs to get a legitimate reality check.

    But I won’t hold my breath.

    At least we’ll be annexed by the United States sooner than later, so all is well that ends well.

  13. Quit jumping to conclusions. It reads like Jeneroux is leaving for family reasons.

    That he does not state his reason for leaving, but finishes the letter by saying that he needs to focus on his family, supports this.

    1. Every year, 1000’s of Britons leave their work “not by their own choice” and say it’s “gardening leave”…
      I think it’s great that the UK has at least one thing they do well. Some of their gardens are really coming along.

      In North America it’s common to say, “wants to spend more time with family”
      I can believe that with Matt Jeneroux. 99% of days I’d quit work to spend more time with family, but I’d give some notice, and wouldn’t do it directly before a parliamentary non-confidence vote.

    2. If you’re so sheltered that you’re unaware that “stepping down to spend more time with the family” is always a euphemism for “forced out, at gunpoint if necessary” you really need to get out more.

I’m not sheltered, nor “so sheltered”… Matt’s explanation is plausible, his charity dovetails well with “wanting to have more time with his family” and he has said indirectly that he didn’t run for office to sit in opposition, and if that’s for another 3 years maybe he decided that’s not for him. It’s a bit selfish for sure and this timing is poor, but nobody knows if he’s been pushed out, notably as being pushed out works against the Conservatives, and the #Libranos aren’t in a position to push him out.

    1. I had a bad feeling the moment PeePee was elected leader.

      Whether it is his TDS or his potential replication of Trump policies, PeePee is more of a flip flopper than Paul Martin was. The removal of the glasses was token at best because no one relevant saw the wardrobe change due to the fact PeePee won’t go on any long form interviews other than Jordan Peterson, but no one can understand any of the convoluted pro Zionist propoganda that Peterson says, except those already indoctrinated by him.

      PerPee is a career politician that has no more real world experience than Justin Trudeau or Andrew Scheer. He also has no more western credibility than Scheer, who despite living in Saskatchewan, is a degenerate laurentian elite.

  16. I observed after the election that it would only take a small number of MPs crossing the floor to turn minority to majority, but I was looking at the orange caucus when thinking it. I also expected it to happen quicker.
