So many people are “on Food Stamps” that when the government is shut down by DemocRat intransigence, people literally go crazy. Starting with LBJ’s Great Society program in the 1960s, and continuing until Obama and Biden actively recruited people to go on the public dole and Biden allowed millions of illegal aliens to suck at the public teat (blatantly against Federal law!), the program has snowballed. Today, the figure given for the number of US residents on food stamps (SNAP, EBT) is close to 42 Million People! Yes, you read that correctly, Forty-two Million People are drawing food stamp benefits, many illegally!
When the government withdraws the opium of federal benefits, that most have become addicted to, withdrawal symptoms set in, and this time is no different.

What REALLY bakes my noodle is seeing all the Chinese immigrants pull up to the food banks in their late model European SUV’s. Face it … there are FAR too many grifters taking advantage of these generous give-aways. It’s far past time to use strict means-testing for ALL welfare programs.

Yup sign of the times, the lack of any shame. I know some old-time Chinese immigrants that got here in the fifties. They would rather starve than take a handout and got to the middle class same as my parents did, working their asses off and making sacrifices. They don’t like these new Chinese much. But free food is free food, and if you have no morals.. It’s the food banks’ fault they don’t take into account the grifters. They should home deliver. We did that with food hampers, we’d deliver to families in need through a list. The people we saw were in real misery.
