Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

The US government shutdown started October 1st. The numbers for October will reflect those numbers.
Isn’t a lot of this money coming from American businesses and consumers?
ALL government money comes from businesses and consumers.
What type of surplus? Trade? Federal budget?
Not a great moment in communication.
“What type of surplus? Trade? Federal budget?”
Whichever one it is, you can thank President Donald Trump for it.
Not really into blind idolization. I’ll wait till I know what they’re talking about.
Let me guess … you give most of the accolades to Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan for the Gaza Peace Agreement … speaking of “blind idolization”?
Let me guess… most of your criticisms of other posters are based on suppostions.
Prudent fellow. Eyes-wide-open idolisation is the only way to go. Hey, if I’m going to make a fool of myself, it’s going to be a consciously crafted fool. I’ve got standards, you know.
Federal budget surplus recorded by the U.S. Treasury.

September is the last month of the US fiscal year and the annual deficit was lower by 2.2% – a start. You will have to wait until next October to see the full Trump effect.
Thank you.
Drat. I was hoping for some some kind of obscure fat surplus. Oh well, watch for my new band, Obscure Fat Surplus.
