Yesterday, I had a conversation with a longtime Canadian friend – sadly full of TDS and Ignorance – tell me how horrible it was that the National Guard was in Memphis.
To be clear, he was criticizing people like this: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7.
He is condemning them to a life of misery but yet thinks he is the noble & righteous one. In other words, a textbook Canadian Liberal.
I’ve never been there but do know of some folks from Canada who think Tennessee is beautiful and all that, though they never talk about how wonderful Memphis is, maybe that’ll change soon …

We lived in Memphis from 1998 to 2010. When we moved there crime was an issue but you could still go to Beale Street and feel safe. You didn’t wander too far off Beale, though.
Our daughter and her family still live in the area but finally were able to move east th Hardeman county. Most of the folks who can work it have moved either north or east to other counties, or to Mississippi. All with in a close commute to downtown.
The democrats have been working hard to turn Memphis into Detroit on the Mississppi. I’m glad President Trump is working to thwart that.

The pathological psychosis of the Canadian condition runs hard and deep. It manifests as an inability to solve one’s own problems and looking to the government to solve everything. Americans are rugged individualists, Canadians are Subjects of the Crown. This psychosis closely resembles female behaviors to never take responsibility, blame others for your own actions, and a general inability to fix what you have created.
People in this country genuinely believe 60,000+++ cute little children have been k1lled in Gaza. They hear it all the time on TV, so they believe it. If the TV said it was 20 million, they’d believe that.
I generally don’t even offer an opinion anymore. About anything. At all. Because then I’m the Bad Guy, and it’s tiresome. Then they all want to know “OMG how can you possibly think that?!!!”
That’s a half-hour conversation if you bring receipts, starting with, “there aren’t that many small children in all of Gaza. So if it -can’t- be 60,000, what are we talking about here?”
It boils down to “they’re lying and you are a sucker.” At the end of the monologue they are angry, confused, don’t want to believe me, and really want to go back to being programmed because ignorance is bliss.
If you told a rich guy in Malibu before the big fire that the city didn’t have any freakin’ water in the fire hydrant system, and they didn’t have any fire trucks that worked, and they didn’t cut the brush in the canyons at all, and his entire bazillion dollar house was at risk of a canyon fire… he would say the same thing. “OMG how can you possibly think that?!!!” Remember that news was all over the web, and all that happened was us weirdos got called racists? Remember that?
Then if you physically took that guy around to every reservoir and SHOWED him they were all empty, and then opened the hydrant in front of his bazillion dollar house and found it to be bone dry with a spider nest in it, that guy would -argue- with you. He would cling to what he “knows” like a mesquite bush. He would say “but the environment!” And -you- would be the bad guy.
And now that his house actually -did- burn down, you’re still the bad guy because you didn’t fix it for him. For free. You bastiges.
Propaganda really, really works on Normies. They can’t be argued out of it. Even a hearty mugging or their house burning down won’t wake some of them up.

The tribalism of black culture (the Crips and the Bloods specifically) has – with so many,many other things – been amplified to 111 by social media and the handheld computer/phone/infotainment system.
The National Guard should respond like the IDF responded to the Hamas barbarity.
