    And yes you’re being played…we’ve been through this. And as if that isn’t bad enough you have “insiders” acting like you’re not.

  4. I agree that “we are being played” and this will continue until the political earthquake from the western provinces (in the works) has played out.

    The tremors will intensify in the spring of 2026, with an expected shift in control to take place in autumn.
    The federal gov’t leads with their game, as a 10 years old boy sees a a pike closing on his hook from the vantage of a summer boat dock… carefully jittering his hook a foot in front of the closing pike, keeping it just out of striking distance… only to reel it up and out of sight at just the wrong moment. The pike circles away back into the weeds, the boy shrugs and thinks “maybe tomorrow”

    The federal gov’t thinks we’ll be back tomorrow, angling for our luck, even while we know the game is rigged and their intentions are a ruse to keep us begging for crumbs. Crumbs are what they’ll be feeding the Atlantic provinces when their +/- 20% of provincial revenues from equalization payments disappear.

    It isn’t my concern as to how they replace that ill gotten wealth, plant “victory gardens” for all I care.
    It’s a welcome sight to see others are catching on to the federal gov’t games. That when we send federal representatives eastward, it is of no consequence to see in question period how questions are tabled, and the responses to those questions are loaded with “Mr. Speaker the opposition doesn’t care for the well being of Canadians” and non substantive response, meanwhile every project is stonewalled, slow walked, and met with an insurmountable flurry of new rules and regulations, all to stifle our future.

    And yesterday, Marx Carnage making an announcement to foster trade between Turkey, a country which murdered more than 1.5 million Armenian citizens, fought a guerrilla war with Kurds who wanted freedom from Turk tyranny for decades and sought to never admit their murderous ways, the imbecile Marx Carnage thinks we want to trade substandard Turkish goods to replace our wealth, and welcome garbage gazan people here who have been taught for generations that the Jews are responsible for their state in life.

    There is no end to the derision I feel for the federal gov’t of tier 2 Canada.

    When doing business with a liar,thief and spendthrift,you have no hope of that “partnership” working.
    Long past time we,Westerners, dissolved this doomed relationship.
    Is it just me?
    Or do the Canadians to our east ,in the throws of their Trump Derangement Syndrome, sound completely insane?

    And I have noticed the very same vitriol they spew toward the USA,sounds just like the way they address Western Canada.

    When it costs us more than $20 billion per year,why are we still clinging on?

    1. Because the west is composed of Canadians. Canadian defined. A weak and cowardly creature, that seeks safety in numbers, praying it is eaten last, and backstabbing it’s own species to try to curry favour with it’s predators. It shows no imagination, takes no initiative, and seeks to sabotage those that do, preferring mediocrity to being led. A thoroughly useless species, it has been driven to only the least hospitable areas by predation, the last few remaining are endangered and no one cares.

      That’s why. Shithole.

  6. IMO, the optimism and resilience of the people of Alberta and Saskatchewan is their biggest asset and also their biggest curse. Optimism and resilience gets us through harsh winters, booms and busts of the resource economy, storms that wipeout an entire agricultural crop, etc.

    Unfortunately, these personality traits also allows the people of Alberta and Saskatchewan to think that the Canadian government system will also get better. That the federal policies that target the two prairie provinces are just a bad prime minister or a bad political party…a few bad apples in Ottawa. But it’s not a few bad apples, it’s a entire rotten barrel. Too many voters in the rest of Canada are fine with the Canadian economy failing as long as Alberta and Saskatchewan’s economies don’t succeed.

    At least 4 decades of federal government policies that hobble Alberta and Saskatchewan should dispel any optimism that there’s hope for improved relations with the rest of Canada. At best there’s the occasional short reprieve followed by more economic repression. Alberta and Saskatchewan need to be optimistic and resilient about forming a new country rather than about ever getting a fair deal from the rest of Canada.

  8. The idea that our political leaders in the West are being “played”, is just all part of the theatre.
    They can then pretend ignorance, naivete, or that they’ve been fooled, when nothing happens – or worse.
    That way it allows for the gates to be slowly closed and then locked, while pretending to fight for us.

    The ship of Canada is being scuttled in real time, and Danielle Smith is negotiating for a better cabin on the upper deck, when we should be launching the lifeboats. A better deal in a purposefully dying nation, is meaningless.

    Agreed that the only way the “Climate Crisis” cult has got this far is by way of censorship and Brainwashing(Psy-Op). Both the Alberta and the Sask. government could order a province wide free and open scientific discussion of the issues. Growing the majority, who support natural resource development and can articulate why; that would expose the federal government’s policy is actually based on neo-paganist cult, not science. In essence, they’re practicing witchcraft.

    Voting for an independence referendum is the political earthquake required. Under Carney’s
    E. V. mandates 20% in 2026 to 100 percent by 2035. Most people will know they are not only voting on not only will people be able to own a home. They are also voting on whether they will be able to afford to own a motor vehicle, too.

    Serfdom and indentured servitude is the globalist future.

  12. Mark Carney has absolutely no intention of allowing any progress on oil and gas and pipelines. He was sent here by the – take youR pick – UN, WEF, CLUB OF ROME, KING CHARLES, THE DAVOS CROWD, THE EU. ETC. TO SHUT DOWN CANADA’S GAS AND OIL INDUSTRY AND IMPOVERISH THE MIDDLE CLASS IN NAME OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND GLOBALIZATION OF THE WORLD.

    IN OTHER WORDS … WE RE HEADING FOR RETURN TO THE FEUDAL SYSTEM.
    BUT DON’T FRET, CARNEY IS SIMULATANEOUSLY ATTEMPTING TO TAKE ALL GUNS AWAY FROM CANADIANS.

    So our enslavement will be peaceful.
