    1. The maddening thing is normal citizens paid for the eyesore via their taxes and then again to remove the eyesore, when it shouldn’t have occured in the first place.

Virtue signaling is costly in so many ways.

  1. It’s great to see these crapstain woke monuments erased from the public square.

    Now do Canada, please

      1. Phantom,
Your “paint over” comment reminded me of a Guy Clark tune.
“Maybe I can paint over that…Ah, it’ll probably leak through…”

      2. No, it’d be almost impossible here. You have to be careful burning a little rubber on them because some woke a-hole will call the cops. Besides, I have new tires and why waste good rubber on those clowns.

But I always try to remember and leave a good spit when I remember if I’m walking past.

      3. Here in Burlington they didn’t repaint the crosswalks after some roadwork – they put vinyl wraps around the lightpoles at that intersection instead. Which I expect to last no more than two winters due to freeze-thaw cycles. We’re not going to get a reversion as dramatic as Florida, but the climb-down is slowly happening.

    1. Westlock Alberta did a similar repaint job just a year or so back. There was considerable pissing and moaning but a majority of the tax payers supported the upgrade.
Most taxpayers are done with this crap!!

  2. Congratulations, idiots. You finally did it. You finally p1ssed off the Normies. Way to go.

This is how the Normies do it. They don’t care about you or your little problems, they enforce Normality. And if you are outside their envelope, they will come for you. Hasta la vista, rainbow flag sidewalks.

You know, a long time ago when I used to still talk to Lefty gun-grabbing morons, I used to ask them this question: What are you fools going to do when The Church Lady gets hold of the levers that steer the Big Socialist Machine?

But did any of the fools listen? Nooo, they did not. That Phantom guy, what a doofus! Those Conservatives could never win!

Well, here we are. That which cannot be allowed to continue will be stopped.

    1. The paradox of tolerance, in short…
The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that if a society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance; thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance. This paradox was articulated by philosopher Karl Popper in The Open Society and Its Enemies (1945),[1] where he argued that a truly tolerant society must retain the right to deny tolerance to those who promote intolerance. Popper posited that if intolerant ideologies are allowed unchecked expression, they could exploit open society values to erode or destroy tolerance itself through authoritarian or oppressive practices.

  3. an apropos time to yet again demand, but only rhetorically this time, why the kcuf l have to have THEIR sexual preference trotted out annually monthly and randomly
    shoved
    in
    my
    eyes
    and
    ears??? WHY??????

  4. I was told violence against the f@g flag resulted in violence against gays. Hospitals must be full of gays now

    1. It results in more violence FROM troons, not against. Catholic Church shooting at start of school year triggered the whole troon cult.

While I’m glad to see it go, I’m worried about what fresh horror they/them will unleash on Monday.

  5. Let’s not forget that since Sept 10th, the “T” in LGBT stands for terrorism. I’m sure the sane LGB folks would rather not have in your face displays like that.

  6. In a pragmatic way, I’m slightly disappointed by this. These murals are a “get out of jail free card” for anyone who knows how to use them. States are free to set up their own roadway requirements, but they never do. They adhere to the Federally produced “Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and Street Signs.” It’s easier just to adopt an already established protocol (and cheaper). This manual tells you exactly how tall a stop sign has to be, what visibility requirements exist (tree branch blocking etc.). They tell you where cross walks have to be….and so on and so on.

The LGQ…murals on a municipal roadway violate the Manual’s requirements and creates what the Courts call clutter/distraction. As a result, any motor vehicle violation you get at such an intersection containing a mural was an easy dismissal in traffic court. Blow a stop sign? Your honor, I was distracted by all the pretty colors (that were in violation of proper roadway markings). Didn’t come to a complete stop at that red light? Your honor, I was confused by all the markings, and there was a car behind me, so I kept going. Keep in mind the traffic cop is an employee of the municipality that is allowing these roadway violations, so that very defense is a conflict of interest for that party that’s trying to convict you.

(this has been a public service announcement. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming. 😀 )

  7. Good … a Normal intersection. For Normal people.
    No more LGBTQueer-mutated intersections.

Now tell me how that’s a “bad thing”? Or a “hateful thing”?
