I Want A New Country

Good Lord, what are we waiting for?

As Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government prepares to announce the first projects of national interest it has selected, Radio-Canada has learned that no oil pipeline is on the list, according to three sources that have spoken to Radio-Canada.

“There is no [oil] pipeline project on the table,” one of them said, despite the federal government’s promise to make Canada an “energy superpower.”

No coincidence: Electricity prices in Canada just posted one of their sharpest spikes on record.

  1. Good Liberal voters have decided we shall heat and transport by unicorn pixie dust.

    They deserveth the coldness.

The pixie dust spreaders deserveth the Nepal treatment.

    Not in Canada eh?

“By war’s end, the Canadian Corps’ reputation as an army of “no mercy” was known all across Northern France and was helped along by Canadian bar boasts to that effect. “You will very seldom now hear of the Canadians taking prisoners, they take them to some quiet spot and then it is a case of the dead may march,” officer C.V. Williams wrote in a letter to his father. Soldier Clifford Rogers bragged “the Germans call us the white Ghurkha,” a reference to famously ruthless Ghurkha soldiers from Nepal who served with the British Indian army.”

    1. Many of the tactics now called “War Crimes!” by the UN were invented and first used by the Canadian Army in WWI and WWII. And the Germans copied “blitzkrieg” from Canada. Canadians invented it and used it first,

Nothing has really changed here, despite what the media pounds into our ears every day.

Well, to be fair one thing changed. All the maniacs who invent new war crimes are not in the Army now.

  2. Waiting for #Brookfield to acquire a pipeline company?

I think the idea is to green the nation by making us all too poor to buy gas and electricity. The neighbors around here all have woodpiles now, that’s a new thing in the last ten years. Previously, wood stoves and fireplaces were for decoration, and to burn the odd kleenex now and again.

  3. Lies are all you get from these Eco effers and make no mistake about it…Carney and his cadre of green marxists will run this country into the ground with their policies to get pats on the back from their pals at the WEF. And always sure to leave the door open a crack with the “…we’ll see” and “we’re not ruling it out” side-talk B.S.

“So far, no company has expressed interest in financing or carrying out such a project.”
    Pffffttt…why would they?

      1. Your comment is perfectly succinct and to the point. No one in their right mind would invest in this place and recent reports on capital flows provide stark evidence.

  4. Carney was installed to finish Canada. They will promise and promise and drag in on and on. And do nothing.

  5. Five bucks says the first project of “national” importance will be in Quebec. New transmission lines or a dam.

53% of morons, I mean Canadians, say they are fine with the deficit increasing. Well, guess what, your wish will be fulfilled…in spades!

The collapse is proceeding apace. Soon we will be a free and independent nation!

  6. Kanada is becoming a WIND energy superpower! Oh? Carney didn’t explain WHAT kind of energy superpower you’re becoming? The world’s leading NET ZERO energy superpower! Yeayyyy!! A clean, green, sustainable, energy future for Kanada!

    1. As in wind bags or breaking wind? Kanada will be a super power in both as long as the “Elbows Up!” retards keep on doing the chicken dance thingy.

  7. You see, CBC, as spun through National Newswatch, informs us “no private company has raised a finger so far to develop such a project,” proving there’s no business case for losing $billions being turned down, paralysis by analysis and kowtowing to every obscure group opposed to pipelines and any energy or resource development.

Nothing but specious slogans and semantic statist swill from ideological incompetents, where process has become the opposite of progress, indeed its antithesis where the former is specifically structured to prevent the latter.

They never had any intention of allowing a trans-Canada pipeline, for the same reason we will be pummeled on US trade for refusing to relent on our protected markets, opposition from Quebec politicians (not the people).

  8. Just another checkbox on the way to full-fledged Shithole.
When you can’t build stuff anymore, entropy starts.
That’s exactly what the Climate Doomers want:
A big fcking park full of both kinds of Indians living in pockets of squalor.

  9. Rhetorical Question?
We are waiting for a means of confirming that our fellow citizens are in agreement, that a new and more perfect union is in order.
A nice civilized referendum..where all the organs of the State of Thuggery will seek to stampede the gullible, cheat the vote and every other lie, cheat and steal they can ,to keep their lip lock on Western Canadian’s wealth.
So we are waiting for Ottawa to finish pissing on and pissing off the next 15% of formerly patriotic Westerners.
    Won’t be long now.

  10. Project # 1. Enrich Liberals
    Project # 2. Enrich Liberals
    .
    .
    .
    Project #15. Enrich Liberals

Plus give money to CBC to report that national interest projects 1 through 15 are progressing well.

  11. The obvious answer is no company wants to get involved with another Trans mountain, just to get bled by FedGov with ridiculous requirements that takes decades to build on the basis that the Carney Circus may change their mind in a year or 2.
