As with Iran, it is easy to forget that the citizens of Venezuela once benefitted from the myriad benefits of thriving capitalism.
It is unfortunate that voters in NYC are incapable of learning from either example.

Venezuela was wealthier than Europe until they voted to be a shithole. I hope they are enjoying every minute of it.
