National Post- Some people risk $25,000 fine to reach Nova Scotia’s nude beach
Also known as the nude beach, the third beach in Crystal Crescent Beach Park is a primary public space for naturists to practise nudism in a natural setting in Nova Scotia. It usually requires a 15-minute hike along a coastal trail through woods from the parking lot.
The penalties are absolutely draconian and enforcement ties up valuable policing resources that could be better used elsewhere, but bestowing the label “emergency” on public policy makes it all worthwhile, I guess. We learned nothing from the Covid experience by the looks of it.
