  1. Democrats in US intelligence community planting more stories?

“CIA officials worried that the release of a House report on 2016 Russian election meddling could reveal top secret spying techniques and sources…”

    Top secret spying techniques???

Sure. Right. As in we made it up.

  2. Which of these cities is not like the others?
“Washington DC is less safe than many third world capital cities.” —Clay Travis

  3. Resetting the Climate Debate with Kim Strassel and Chris Wright (Energy Secretary).

Carbon Dioxide is not a pollutant. There is a big difference between the IPPC summary of the science (written by scientists) and the summary for policy makers (written by politicians) and these are completely different from each other. Energy poverty remains a big issue to solve. In fact many of the solutions proposed to “stop” climate change would damage the world economy. In other words, things we already know.

  4. The court case of if the question being put to the electorate in AB for separation is being heard in the king’s bench court today.
Apparently the court room is full of interested citizens, this is from a Facebook group opposing the question, and written by a Ken Chapman with the group “Reboot Alberta” :
“The Court is in session on the Chief Electoral Officer application.
Introduction. Treaty Six has counsel here too. Alberta Justice is here too. And someone representing an Amicus Curia…”a friend of the Court.”
Looking at procedural matters and APP Motion to Strike the CEOs Application.
Several Intervenors want time to prepare.
Issue is to deal with the Motion to Strike or procedural matters first.
Mr. Sylvestre of the APP has been accepted as a Party. Some First Nations seek status in this matter too.”

I am seeing one link regarding this, but no others yet, perhaps more coverage will be posted later today or whenever the king’s bench decides to issue their opinion.

      1. The hearing was held, they’re expected to have another court date next Thursday 14 August 2025
The writer at the Western Standard notes a couple of things towards the bottom of the page which differ from what’s being told by the pro-separation groups.
The pro intact Canada group filed for a referendum under the old rules, requiring nearly 300k signatures within 90 days, the pro separation group filed after the Danielle Smith UCG party changed the rules, so they’re needing about 180k signatures within 120 days.

    1. Gordon McClure – the Chief Electoral Officer – went to the University of Lethbridge and publishes its pronouns. This leads me to conclude it is an Ottawa genuflecting Dipper. Its purpose for referring to the Court is in hopes to have it quashed.
In the last provincial election, Dipper campaign signs were posted across the street from the polling stations in clear view.

      1. Why don’t we just file an information to have Ottawa-Gatineau declared a foreign enemy state?
