  1. From Heroes to Zeroes: The Labubu dolls have become more expensive [than] Gazprom

“The Chinese manufacturer of iconic dolls, Labubu, has achieved a market value that exceeds the capitalization of leading Russian resource companies.”

Lest anyone forget, Gazprom used to be the biggest source of revenues for Russia before their European customers wised up and realised that feeding a monster poised to eat them was a bad idea. Now, instead of Europe being frozen in the dark, as so many here predicted, Gazprom is pumping out more gas than they can sell. The Chinese see their predicament and are happy to take an advantage of them; China says it’s only interested in a new pipeline from Russia if its construction is fully financed by the Russians and the gas is sold at a Russian domestic price. Those are obviously humiliating terms for the Russians and probably barely profitable, but there’s a good chance they will argee. After all, it’s still better than simply burning the gas you have nobody to sell to.

    1. B2, you missed the good news. If you read further down on your link you will see that watermelon prices dropped significantly in Russia. BTW, watermelons in Russia are incredibly juicy and delicious, not like the soapy tasting
genetically modified garbage we get in N America.

  2. Which is why PP will never make even a half-decent PM and why Danielle Smith is flailing. She needs to grab the bull by the horns & drag that sucka, kicking, biting, screaming & fighting, out the damn door. She’s far too busy kowtowing to Ottawa & the Laurentian Elite (BIRM).

  3. Sound familiar?

Supporters of the cuts to federal funding – which also affected PBS – said it was unfair to expect all Americans to subsidize a network with such an isolated worldview.
