2. I think if everyone was honest, the so-called unacceptable views are shared by a large number and perhaps not a minority. Canadians are scared to say what they really thinks, for good reason.

   But, as you noted, that would take courage. And you can’t have courage without honesty … or vice versa.

   The ‘large number’ of Canadians you refer to are neither honest or courageous. So it doesn’t matter what their secret thoughts are. We are mired in this cesspool because of them.
