The dumbest generation of CEO’s in history tried to appease the crocodiles:
In a rare display of corporate sanity, Suncor Energy has abruptly cut funding to a climate activist charity peddling “resilience” projects across Indigenous communities. The decision marks a welcome shift away from the company’s years-long flirtation with the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) mob.
Suncor had pledged $500,000 to The Resilience Institute, a climate group focused on adapting communities to so-called “climate risks.”
But instead of handing over the cash and patting itself on the back for more hollow virtue signalling, Suncor pulled the plug — quietly, firmly, and without apology.

The worm has finally turned. Looks like Suncor’s private polling data has finally reached out and smacked the Boardroom bozos in the wallet. Yeah this is no longer popular, no you’re not making friends, yeah if you keep going you’ll be broke in 6 months.
Thing to remember, my friends: CEOs never -ever- believed in any of this crap. They were riding the wave. This crap is no longer popular, because #OrangeManBad defunded the propaganda machinery that was keeping it popular. Thanks to Elon and DOGE, there are no longer hundreds of billions of US tax dollars from US-AID propping up the Greenies.
Look for a lot more CEOs to pull the plug on all their #Woke crap. The joke, as they say, is over.
“CEOs never -ever- believed in any of this crap. They were riding the wave. “
Nailed it.
They have been feeding the hand that bites them.
So someone in the boardroom finally asked
“Uhm, how exactly are they paying their activists?”
“The Resilience Institute, a climate group focused on adapting communities to so-called “climate risks.””
Looking at their financials, they spend a lot on enriching consultants to the tune of $923k after getting government money ($307.7K) and receiving over $900k from other charities. Can anyone say with certainty that it’s not just a money washing operation?
Likely funded by the Russians and the Chinese.
How do pick up trucks and big screen TVs benefit the environment?
Shrug. I wonder how many millions of our tax-dollars Suncor got over the years to be “Green”?
