  1. The first year I moved to ranch country west of Cochrane, Alta. it snowed in July.

    1. I’ve lived in southern Alberta my entire life. There hasn’t been a month during that time that hasn’t seen snow.

  2. Ohhhhhhhhh Mommmmmaaaaa … EXTREME weather. Oh My! We’ve never seen anything like this before!! Global warming CAUSES global cooling.

  3. That might explain why solar has been around 250 megawatts at noon instead of capacity of 1826.

    1. I come from Alabama
With my banjo on my knee
      I’m going to Louisiana
My true love for to see
      It rained all night
      The day I left
      The weather it was dry
      The sun so hot
      I froze to death
      Susanna, don’t you cry

  4. Too bad it didn’t do this a few days ago when the warmists were all together at the G7. There’ll be several inches in Kananaskis, too.

    1. Yup. I lived in Alberta for 35 years and saw it all, including snow in every month of the dang year.
And watch out for them Chinooks, they’re enough to confuse some elitist hollywood actor who has a yacht but still looks like a little twat.
I digress. Alberta clippers are a sight to behold.

  5. Last year, on June 19th, (memorable as it is my brother’s birthday) we had a frost here in Lethbridge. The latest frost on record. Fortunately, the tomatoes survived!
This year, the tomatoes are enjoying this steady water. Hopefully, they don’t drown!
This massive storm is a HUGE blessing. It has been uncomfortably dry and the last couple winters bereft of snow. The more snow in the rocks right now will be fantastic. The warm weather will return and with it quickly developing and thriving crops. Now, let’s hope we can avoid the great white combine!

  6. Came to this country on Friday 13 1968, working in Calgary at a construction company lumber yard, a day in August of 1969, @ 25 degrees of Celsius, in the afternoon of that day in one hour, heavy clouds came from the west, snowed about half an hour, don’t remember how deep though it was deep, in another hour there was not a wet spot of the melted snow, back to @ 25 degrees of Celsius.
    It never happened since.
