  1. Iran’s biggest problem is that many people inside believe that Israel will save them.

    1. It took me a second visit to this thread before I got the pun. I am going to steal the pun for use elsewhere.

    2. Now, the difference between Iran and Afghanistan is that, in Iran, the regime lives off the fat of the land and finds it tiring; whereas in Afghanistan, they live indefatigable.

    3. Ayatollah this would be another 6-day war (Israel’s specialty) …

Iran cries ‘Uncle’ Ayatollah! And the oil markets have already certified it. Wow. That happened so fast, that I didn’t even have time to enjoy the uptick in my energy stocks. Damn Israel! You’re too damn good. Hardest hit: Tucker Carlson who has been proven WRONG on just about everything pertaining to Israel and Iran. I’m almost as much of a peacenik as Tucker … except I believe there is a time and a place for force to be exerted.

  2. BREAKING: Wall Street Journal Dubai Bureau -reports Iran is signaling to Israel and to US that they would like to resume talks, negotiate and de-escalate situation.

Also, reports that Ayatollah has been eliminated remain unconfirmed. He is reportedly hiding with his whole family in a bunker in Lavizan. Israel air strikes have targeted the area. However, regular Iranians note there are no public air raid shelters in Tehran or other cities as the populace is expected to just sit and wait for their martyrdom

    1. …as long as the US doesn’t join the attack = no bunker buster bombs

DUBAI—Iran has been urgently signaling that it seeks an end to hostilities and resumption of talks over its nuclear programs, sending messages to Israel and the U.S. via Arab intermediaries, Middle Eastern and European officials said.
In the midst of a ferocious Israeli air campaign, Tehran has told Arab officials they would be open to return to the negotiating table as long as the U.S. doesn’t join the attack, the officials said. They also passed messages to Israel saying it is in the interest of both sides to keep the violence contained.
But with Israeli warplanes able to fly freely over the capital and Iranian counterattacks inflicting minimal damage, Israeli leaders have little incentive to halt their assault before doing more to destroy Iran’s nuclear sites and further weaken the theocratic government’s hold on power.
Israeli strikes have killed key military leaders, including much of the top echelon of Iran’s air force, leaving Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei increasingly isolated. But the impact on nuclear facilities has been modest and analysts say it could take a long air war to get the results Israel wants.

      1. That’s the best strategy. Iran could go back to negotiations; sign anything and everything; get brain-dead UN and European officials to supervise the supposed “de-escalation”; then quickly build a bomb and nuke Israel.

Note that the despotic leaders in Iran are pi**ed about now. If they have a chance at re-building their atomic bomb program, then there is a 100% certainty they will.

  3. Mahan Airlines Secret Flights

Unofficial sources now report that some Mahan flights are being carried out without public registration, using “security codes” to depart from Imam Khomeini International Airport to destinations including Muscat, Damascus, Beirut, Bangkok, and China. These are widely seen as emergency evacuation flights for elite regime figures and their families.
