  1. The fighter jet problem is so easily solved. Contract out the plane and pilot service to the obvious supplier, the USAF. Do a good job negotiating, Canada saves a ton. I am not saying the US is better, just leave the grift and corruption south of the border. I have no doubt the US would end up losing money on the deal, because they are just as corrupt, useless and incompetent as Canadian bureaucrats. Of course, if the hood were lifted, 100 more GC Strategies type operations would show up, the grift is part of the game. “Elbows up” we’ll steal our own money, thanks.

  2. Canada has already “invested” in the F35 over the decades of development and production, producing airframe components, etc. The grift starts with the RCAF being top heavy, at the whims of the current government and the entrenched bureaucracy.
Do we need to punt that over a spat with OMB-MAGA?
We might get some F35’s before the CF18’s start falling out if the sky…

    1. The one thing you van be sure of is the order of priorities will be:

      1. politics for the Liberals
      2. grift for the Laurentian Elite
      3. growth of the bureaucracy
      4. value for taxpayers
      5. defense of the country
      6. safety of personnel

  3. So … the Canadian government isn’t conducting security clearances for contract workers accessing the most sensitive of government data and secrets? There will never be a shot fired when Canada is absorbed into the ChiCom Party. Speaking of colonialism.

  4. Nothing will be done except various Liberal linked companies will attach themselves to any new spending which will create nothing.

    1. But only 30 seconds to pick the ammo supplier.

      1. Ah, Repentigny! Honeymoon capital of Quebec! As they say, “marry in haste, Repentigny..”
