  1. Talk about the kiss of death. If they weren’t doomed before, they sure as hell are now.

    1. Why is that? Many people respect Kennedy’s views. His weighing in draws attention to the issue. The downside is that CFIA is not likely to reevaluate their position. I think without any level of flexibility (like test, for Pete’s sake) they lose a lot of public respect. They look like petty, vindictive bureaucrstsl

In Vancouver? Are you kidding? He’s one of Trump’s boys.

        1. I misinterpreted your comment too. Sometimes the meaning doesn’t come across in a short comment.

        2. Yes, here we see TDS at its most toxic. The TDS victim (or rather enthusiast) finds himself hearing Trump or his proxy say, “Pickle slicers are dangerous, and genitals are vulnerable. Whatever you do, don’t stick your cock in the pickle slicer! You’ll come to terrible harm!” At that point, the urge to find the nearest pickle slicer and slam that pecker in becomes uncontrollable in these people. Because TRUUUMP…!

  2. How many poultry farms in the US have been subjected to a mandated cull in the last 12 months? How many in Canada? Millions of birds have been ordered culled. Why didn’t jr step in then?

    1. Because he wasn’t in a position to. He had to be approved so he was not in his position from the start of Trump’s term.

    2. It is not a typical cull. These birds are not presently sick and CFIA is refusing to test them. The birds are unique in that they are used for research, and may have valuable anti- bodies.

    3. After Trump took office the amount of culling has decreased significantly. The price of eggs is a lagging indicator of whose policy made more sense.

    4. Unlike most birds, ostriches cannot fly, so there is no chance of them flying off to spread some sort of bird flu. They are confined to one place and they are not sick.

The people who want to kill them are the ones who are sick.

    1. We need a jackass cull. (Watch for my new country band, Jack Cullen and the Jackass Cull.)

    1. the plot sickens.
I was wondering why RFK got involved in this small farm in the Kootenays.
Not that I buy this take, but jury is out.
As for the UN, go, shoo, dei.

    1. We can start with indian affairs and health canada…..and whoever runs the post office these days.

  3. There have been many flocks culled in BC. Healthy and infected alike. You get the flu, they cull the flock. It would have happened here as well if the owners hadn’t resisted.
They are albumin farmers for vaccine research in Japan, make of that what you will. They. Also kept a duck pond in the ostrich pen, tempting fate, as it were.
